Hardee’s — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg

This store is in desperate need of new management. I stood in line for 45 minutes, watching Megan (the only person scheduled to work the front counter) run her tail off trying to keep up with counter orders and all online orders by herself. During this time, multiple other employees stood propped up by the drive thru casually drinking their coffee (one even went out for a smoke right by the entrance, so everyone entering had to walk through the smoke), not remotely offering any help. One employee told other customers and myself that Megan was scheduled to work the front counter alone and nobody was obligated to help her. We were also told that management was well aware of this situation and did not care because their main priority is the drive thru. This used to be one of the best fast food places in town. Now not so much. The food was ok. My husband got their new double sausage, fried egg n biscuit. No fried egg just the reg folded egg no explanation. It was fine. But what wasn't ok is that we waited for over 25 mins in the drive-thru!!! Like wow. 😳 hope everyone else wasn't late to work or school. Hardee's used to be super fast!! I realize that like most places they're probably shorthanded but over 25 min wait?!? There was only like 4 other cars in front of us to order. It's not like we were all the way to the road. Breakfast is probably the only thing keeping them open, hate to see them...

When it comes to fast food breakfast Hardee's is hard to beat. The drive thru line is well equipped to move you thru quickly. Update: 06/26/2021 Previously I gave a five star review. Not today. Today both of our hamburgers had something black on the lettuce. Like mold or something. We informed the General Manager. She said she would check on it. She never told us what she found out nor did she offer any apology. Instead, she and a female employee went out to a vehicle and appeared to be smoking and using the phone.
