Well I use to love eating here but the last two times it wasn't good at all. I went there and got a cheeseburger and I watched the guy cook it and he was in a big hurry to get it done. He kept pressing the burger to the grill trying to hurry to get it done. It was not good at all and come to find out when I got my burger it wasn't even the one that I ordered. But I didn't want to wait any longer so I excited it. I tried to eat it but it was not good at all. This was on 3rd shift. So I went back there a few days later for a steak dinner on 2nd shift. They didn't have any baked potatoes, said they was out. Huh out of potatoes wow. Any way I got my steak it was not cooked like I want and the taste was different. I swear it tasted like it had been dipped in some kind of brown gravy it had a funny texture it just wasn't good at all. I've been to the Huddle House quite a few times and I always go there when I want a steak. I was really disappointed I don't know if I'll ever go back there again. And I was really disappointed about the baked potato because I really loved their baked potatoes. Who runs out of baked potatoes LOL. I've talked to friends that have visited this place and was disappointed as well with the food and there service so I know its not just me being picky. But anyway I hope it u try it u have better luck...
Read moreOur family ordered five meals (pickup) for dinner this evenings, totaling over $70 with tip. My mother in law and I went to pick it up. When we returned home we realized we had been shorted the majority of one of the meals. My mother in law called in to report the missing items and ask for a replacement. She was spoken to very rudely by the person who answered the phone. This person told her that “we gave you everything you ordered, I don’t know what you want me to do” and said she was “new” and didn’t know if they could make it right or not. She then hung up on my mother in law. After trying to call back for over 15 minutes—I was finally able to get someone else to pick up the phone and agree to make the order that was missing (and paid for). This person told me that they heard the phone ringing, but had “customers to take care of.” My mother in law drove back to the restaurant to retrieve the missing order, which was not ready when she arrived. The rest of us ate our food, which at this point was cold. When she got there no one even bothered to apologize for the missing order, rude treatment on the phone, or the inconvenience. I cannot believe that this is how a business treats the seniors in this community. Quite frankly, those working this evening...
Read moreChanging this from 5 stars to one, would give 0 if I could. Last time my partner and I dined here not only was there a small black hair buried in my grits that looked like a nose hair. When I found it and informed the server she got angry, asked me what color the hair was while staring at my partner (who is redheaded) when I told her it was black and showed her she glared at me and took the grits. We were not given half of our order, they gave us our check we while we were waiting for the remainder our order. They tried to charge us for the food we didn't receive until my partner pointed out to them they had not served us those items, they took off the food not served and refunded us for the 2 dollars and some change for the hairy grits. We have been going to the restaurant on a regular basis for years. Since this we have no intentions of ever going back. I could have been a bit more understanding if they were short staffed but they had three people behind the bar two were cooking and two servers and maybe 4 tables. There was no excuse for the hair though, that was...
