Where to start! Taco Tuesday is hands down the BEST, most original-not to mention most flavorful, experience there is for a signature night like this! We started out with the chips and quac, and ohhhhhh the nachos!!!! ♥️♥️ Seriously so delicious! Both were large enough portions for our party of 3 to enjoy! We savored them with deliciously sweet and perfected margaritas! After devouring all of that and ordering another round, I happened to notice their herbed foccacia bread with pesto and tomato butter on their regular menu. Not really Spanish, but hey, I couldn’t resist and I’m oh so glad I did!!!! It was phenomenal! Have I mentioned the whole reason for it being called taco Tuesday? The TACOS! Chef inspired and changed weekly! The flavor combinations that are created are both pleasing and something you will not experience anywhere else in the quad cities! The bartender convinced my friend to get the sweet corn cheesecake which I am told is stellar and the best he’s ever had! The ambiance is comfortable and relaxed, yet intimate and quaint. Set in beautiful downtown LeClaire, I can see why this place is a destination and not a pass by! The staff is warm and welcoming and on their game! Being in the industry myself, I appreciated the fact that they stayed busy but not intrusive and were attentive and suggestively professional. It wasn’t busy in there the evening we were there, which was curious to see. I wish them lots of love and success and encourage you to check them out and give them a shot. True culinary love is put in to the food Chef presents. Thank you Chef and staff! We can’t wait...
Read moreThe review of this place being terrible customer service and accommodation is far from made up. The last few times we were turned away- once was without reservations and literally two other people were in the place but they expected a large dinner rush in an hour or so from when we came in.. are you kidding me? Wasn’t even offered a place at the bar and it was wide open. Then we had made reservations, then they called to cancel my anniversary reservations because all of a sudden they decided to have a wine party. This was very upsetting and so disappointing as I had planned in advance to have a babysitter come to watch our children and anticipated no issue as we made reservations. My husband and I were looking forward to time together: They did nothing for the inconvenience. We won’t be back. This is unfortunately not the first time I’ve heard of them doing this. I gave them multiple chances, and they blew every single one. I would give them zero stars if possible. I hope they can do better and treat ALL people with the same...
Read moreWhat a joke this place has turned into. Used to be nice great place to get a nice dinner and some quiet time. We have tried to stop in several times to eat when the place was practically empty at 5 o’clock during the weekday and turned away stating we need to make reservations. OK no problem. that’s exactly what I did one week in advance to my anniversary dinner. I called and made a reservation for 7 o’clock on a Thursday knowing that Wednesday is a wine night there and can be rather busy. They literally called me and canceled my reservation on me after me calling a week in advance saying they will not have a regular dinner menu due to a large party coming in that evening. Jokes on me right. I hope this place goes out of business sometime soon so we can get a real restaurant in its place. What a...
