I grew up in Bettendorf and whenever I come back into town to visit family, I always make sure to stop by Mississippi River Distilling Co. Last time I was there, I was hoping to pick up a bottle of Cody Road Double Barrel whiskey and some Iowish Cream liqueur. However, Ryan informed me that the Double Barrel wasn't going to be released for another couple of days. Luckily, Ryan was still able to grab me a bottle of it from the back regardless of the official release date. World class customer service! The only thing better than their customer service is the quality of their products. This place is a gem. This and Redband are the first two places I recommend to visitors to the quad cities and vicinity. The tour is informative and the tasting room has perfect decor. It's fun. But the real reason for visiting are the spirits. I never liked spirits until I visited this place. I still don't like vodka but I respect the vodka made here. The gin, however, is another matter. Floral and complex, it is exquisite. (A friend and I did a taste test with MRDC and Hendricks and we loved both.) The bourbon is top shelf. I'm glad they are doing larger batches now. Family owned and operated,everything is made on site with local products. The staff is very friendly.

Distillery tours are available with a reservation.
Products offered are Vodka,Gin,Whiskeys and Liquors.
