Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Leander

So, here I am again, after having left a one star review seven months ago regarding the incompetent manager in charge during week nights, Friday nights not included. Since then, I have mainly ordered only on Friday or Saturday nights, albeit very rarely, and have been satisfied with everything. Until tonight, I probably would have given three stars (in comparison to other Papa Johns locations in Round Rock and Austin). I understand it’s the holidays, they’re probably short staffed, have every excuse every other service oriented business has. But, seriously, a simple order: one “The Meats” and one “Garden Fresh” (on Garden Fresh, we switched onions for banana peppers). The Meats pizza was good, but I have no idea what went wrong with the Garden Fresh pizza. The cheese was not fully cooked, the bell pepper slice (yes, just one) had unidentifiable round things on it, and instead of just switching the onions for the banana peppers, the employee who made this pizza decided to just empty the jar on it. I literally had banana pepper juice running down my hands by the second bite. I could understand an order being mixed up or forgotten drinks because it’s a busy time of year. I’m so done with this Papa John’s. It used to be my favorite place to get food from when nothing else was open, but my last couple of orders have been terrible. The first wasn’t so bad, they forgot our two liter and gave a free order since this wasn’t the first time, but it got worse after the next few orders. Our last order this last Sunday, I found a bug on my pizza. The person (a guy) that we spoke to was awesome. He gave us a replacement in our account. Well, tonight we called to use it Linda was great until she realized we had another free order. Her attitude changed when taking the order. That was at 7:46pm. fast forward to 9:30, our food is still not here so we call and LINDA was rude to us. She said she tried calling because they didn’t have our address. Untrue, we have ordered here for the last 4 years. and never did and let us just wait 2 hours. She hung up mid conversation after I told her we didn’t have any missed calls. I'm done with them finally. We have had bad delivery experience in the last year. They will use DoorDash at times and don't share the delivery instructions and I get a ton of calls and very lost drivers. Pizza is always late. My daughter loves it and last time went pretty well so we ordered last night for her and the babysitter. I ordered early for a 6:45 delivery. At 7 I called and the automated message said delivery would be at 6:55. Waited another 15 minutes and then stayed on hold 10 minutes to get someone to tell me they were closed. I responded I guess that is why I never got my order. Their response was we are trying to fill ordered already received. I told them mine was over 30 minutes late and to cancel and they seemed relieved and did. If you could not make my order on time a call or email would have been appreciated.
