What a hidden gem! This kitschy little quick-bites spot totally surprised me in the best way! It’s grab-and-go style with outdoor seating only, but don’t let that fool you: the food is fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully presented.

I had the avocado toast topped with cherry tomatoes and crispy bacon, and it was honestly perfect. The bread was just the right amount of crunchy, the avocado was creamy, and the flavors balanced so well together.

I also grabbed a fruit bowl with banana, strawberry, and blueberry: simple but stunning. It was so fresh and vibrant it felt like something you'd get at a spa brunch, not a walk-up window.

This is my 2nd visit to Basic. My 1st time was absolutely amazing! I had the sunshine bowl with strawberries added! This time, I was informed the Sunshine Bowl is out of season?!? I got two smoothies, which was really good! But what made this visit the reason I probably won't return is the guy that was in the back doing whatever he was doing came out front and was pouring the B Butter in containers with only one glove on and when some of the butter dripped on the metal prep table he took his finger to wipe it up and then licked his finger! Omg that is NASTY! He proceeded to handle the B Butter and containers with washing his hands or wiping the metal table...

Decent breakfast bowl with good price for the serving. Great toast too but the plastic wear is incredibly cheap. Hopefully a piece never breaks off while a kis is wolfing down their food. I know absolutely nothing about marketing but I walked right by this place. It's white with black, thin lettering. There was nothing to catch my attention.
