The Christmas ice cream was good, but the customer service was extremely poor. Like others have mentioned, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming.
When I walked in around 3:20 PM, I wasn’t greeted—just stared at by two employees, a blonde and a brunette, which made me feel like I was doing something wrong. As I browsed stickers and other items, the blonde suddenly asked if I knew what I wanted. I replied that it was my first time there and I wasn’t sure yet, to which she audibly groaned in annoyance. It was surprising and unprofessional.
Even though I was still looking around, she continued pressuring me to order ice cream. When I finally approached the counter, the brunette asked what I wanted. I requested one scoop in a waffle cone, and she just stared at me before slowly walking away, making the interaction feel even more uncomfortable.
At checkout, I mentioned again that I was visiting for the first time, but the blonde seemed completely indifferent. Given that this is a tourist-heavy area, I expected a more welcoming attitude. Instead, I felt like an inconvenience.
The worst part? As I was leaving, I turned back to grab a napkin and noticed the brunette holding up her phone as if recording me. When she saw me turn around, she quickly put it down, which only made the situation more unsettling. It was incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate.
It’s disappointing to see such behavior from staff. When you work in customer service, basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected. Unfortunately, this experience ensures I won’t...
Read moreI came in around 7pm today, June 19, 2024. I ordered The Cherry Cordial Shake. The cashier and shake maker was Max. Max did a great job, but did not know the difference in cherries and had to call someone to ask about the "real cherries." The shake tasted fine, but it was nothing special. There was no "pop" of flavor. There were cherries with stems on them in the bottom of the cup. I had to dig them out, remove the stems, and eat them. The shake was more liquid than thick. On the receipt, the shake is termed as a Specialty Shake and is $7.80 before tax and/or tip. I think the price is too high for a liquidy shake. The vibe of the restaurant is cool. There are other things to buy besides ice cream. I am not a local. I am in the area for work this week. I came to this creamery because of its reviews and Blue Bell ice cream. I love Blue Bell ice cream. If there is a next time, I will try the ice cream in...
