Sushi Max — Restaurant in Lebanon

Earlier today my wife went into Sushi max to order something as take away. She had walked in there just before 12:30pm. She had our three children with her, because you know you can't leave your children in the car to eat their lunch while you order something for yourself. She was given the menu to place her order and then the lady went to talk to her husband and returned as my wife was marking her order card. They told my wife (with 30 minutes to go before they closed at 1pm) they would not serve her with no real explanation as to the reason. There were others in there that had just placed their order as she came in and they were still open for another half hour. We are left with thinking the only reason for denial of service was that she came in with the children. We have never had a bad experience. However, I usually go in to pick up our order and we don't go in as a family. The hardest part of this is that they make the best sushi in Lebanon and we love getting it from them. Im from Las Vegas and came to visit Lebonon Tennessee for a week and was craving sushi, Sushi Max was the nearest one from me so I had to try it! I had called before to see if they had some sort of happy hour and I was answered in a very rude way "no happy hour here"! I didn't judge considering the fact that maybe the weather was giving bad reception. Then we decided to come in and give it a try. Pretty much my friend and i ordered a couple rolls at a time, she had taken 1 menu as we told her we would like to keep the other... shortly after we got our order, she took our other menu and I had told her we weren't finished ordering then, we were told we had to hurry and order whatever else we wanted or else they couldn't take anyone else's order, I was shocked as in that's how it worked. Wanted to try a sushi place in Lebanon and decided on this one. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Philly roll, Rainbow roll and spicy tuna. I have had many Philidelphia rolls in my time, but this was by far the best interpretation of it. The creme cheese here pops your mouth with flavor and the rice and vegetables are fresh. The salmon wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good and wasn't rubbery (something bad sushi places can fall victim too when the salmon is either raw or smoked) the rainbow roll had good flavor, but didn't suprise me as much as the philly roll. The spicy tuna was juicy and great. Wasn't too spicy, but was just right. They have a good selection of sushi and the prices are standard.
