DiNunzio's Authentic Italian Hoagie — Restaurant in Lebanon

I experienced something that I had never encountered before while dining at DiNunzio's. This was my first time visiting the restaurant, which was highly recommended by a friend. I ordered an Italian Sub and the person I was with ordered roast beef, both of which were brought to our table at the same time. I noticed the sub did not have mayonnaise or onions as I ordered, so I went to the counter and asked for a side of each. Several minutes later, I heard the gentleman sitting behind me say his sub had onions, mayonnaise, and vinegar, none of which he wanted. I told him that it seemed our Italian subs had been switched. This is where it gets interesting. The homely-looking brunette making the subs yelled at me from behind the counter for eating the wrong sub. For the first time in my life, instead of an apology for messing up my order, I was scolded like a child in front of a restaurant full of people.

Loved it. We stopped in here after biking from Elizabethtown on the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. It is directly off of the trail and we specifically wanted to try this place because of the awesome reviews. Limited hours so plan accordingly. It exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so friendly - even the people in line - because they could tell it was our first time and there are many regulars. Roasted Turkey Hoagie was excellent - quality of meat and rolls....exceptional. The hoagies are big - we each ordered a full hoagie - couldn't finish it so the owner wrapped them so we each brought the other half home. It is a very clean establishment and the staff were all so friendly, even though they were extremely busy. We had a hard roll - got the last two of the day. Rolls are always fresh each day! We will definitely be back - so glad...

I’ve been told that their subs get soggy. I’ve been ordering from their restaurant for about a month now...usually the subs were most delicious, so tasteful. This time around...I’ve never been so excited to eat a sub and have a hard U turn in the other direction. I can barely stomach down the wet bread. I work at TE in Lickdale and we love ordering from Dinunzios...Everyone was very dissatisfied with the order. The bag was so wet that it ripped on me. I hope they can fix the situation. I’m sure it’s not the subs faults, I order 3-5 at a time. I like to feast. Next time around I’ll be hoping for better quality bread on my sandwich. I will never say I’ve had a better sub anywhere else though. This place really does make an...
