James Gang Pizza — Restaurant in Lebanon

Came in, they took my name and number, we ordered. I tipped 22%, which made our order $32 for just a medium pizza, cheese bread, and a drink. We weren't given any number or estimate on time, nor a number.

So we sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. No one checked in on us, I got no texts. Other people behind us were getting their orders and it was steady, but not busy.

Around 45 minutes go by my boyfriend went up to the counter to ask for an ETA, only to be met with annoyance, but the lady at the counter checked the kitchen. She immediately came out with a half-warm pizza, which means it was just sitting around for a while, and sent us on our way. No apologies, no refund on the tip, no explanations.

Pizza was pretty good, but would have been better if it was fresh and hot. The toppings were spread somewhat haphazardly, but not the worst I've had.

For the price, we were expecting to actually get our food hot and be told when it was ready. Why even take my name and number if we need to come up to the counter to ask if it's ready? We definitely won't be...

We have been going to James gang pizza since they opened like 10 years ago. Woodstock and American dream pizza are in Corvallis and so since living in Lebanon these guys were the next best. Unfortunately we got the wrong order on a large pizza and chicken strips and jojo's.. at first we were told to not touch anything and they will take it back.... unsanitary but ok. Then when I got a call back I was told since I ordered a chicken bacon ranch and it has mushrooms and peppercini that is there version of a "chicken bacon ranch" even after talking to her manager she said that we just have to deal with it essentially. Like I said we've been customers a long time even held our children's birthday parties there the last almost 10 years but after today service we will never order from there again. Quite honestly I have not had that disrespect in customer service and I have worked in customer service myself for years. Came here for the super bowl. We ordered an all you can eat salad for $7.99 each and the chicken strips. The salad plate was literally a saucer and trying to make a salad was a joke. The salad went everywhere. No dressing at the salad bar and even though we told them they never filled it. The chicken strips were overcooked AGAIN. One of the reasons we stopped coming here. We’ve complained in the past and nobody seems to care. The worst part is the service. TERRIBLE. We have asked 4 different people if they could PLEASE turn the tv volume up so we can at least hear a little bit of the game. Despite the fact that a lot of people here are trying to watch they refuse to turn the volume up at all. So frustrating. I NEVER leave a review on these especially a bad one.
