Eaten there 20+ times beginning 3 years ago. In beginning food was excellent though expensive. Six months before pandemic, got mild case of food poisoning. (Only place I had eaten all Day). 4 hours after meal. Was miserable overnight, all next day. Called Express and asked if they had any other people have any problem.?... With an attitude as if I had insulated them. They said I was the only complaint they had had since they had opened as a business..? Okay fast forward now with our continuing patronage of the express. Became friendly with the waitress I kept seeing. Had a discussion with her in private. To which the gist of it was: I was not, nor had been, the only complaint.lol.. Now to present, I drove up, a small line which is not unusual. Waitress comes out to take orders so they can get it started always loved that. I asked how fresh the fish was. Which I had been doing prior to everything shutting down and the period where they did not have any employees. They would tell me and be no problem. This visit, I requested how fresh the fish was. Waitress replies she didn't know that no one was around to tell me. That was all new staff I explained the problem about the food poisoning she said well they had all new staff. And I said well I'm sorry without knowing the freshness. I'm just going to go ahead and drive through I can't chance it. Thank you very much and we'll see you again next Visit. As I was passing by the door I rolled down my window to once again shout out I was sorry but I couldn't risk it and they slammed the door in my face. I've never been so insulted in my life. Just slam the door in the face of someone, that has spent, well over $1,800.00 buying food from you in 3 year of time...! Just as I said, I was saying: I'M SORRY PLEASE UNDERSTAND. BOOM GOES THE DOOR... WOW 😣😣😣 At which point I told them they were number one. With my left hand. And drove off saying I will make sure to post this as I drove by, the open drive-thru window. The One, on the other side. And that is the purpose of this to explain why I will...
Read moreUpdate: I came back tonight, after your response to my review, to allow for another chance. It was the same crew from last night. The blonde girl that greeted me again, tonight, was very polite, and I finally got my milkshake! 4 stars because I respect room for improvement, and my milkshake was very delicious. Best milkshake in Lebanon. Thank you for your response! :)
Original post: Everytime I have gone to this place, for what would be my first time ordering from them, they have been out of ice-cream.. or (like tonight) closed down their milkshake machine. I came at 7:16 tonight, and the girl that greeted me told me that they stop making shakes at 7:15. I really didn't want to order anything else. The other girl in the shop rolled her eyes. I was polite and thanked them anyways. It is very disappointing that an item is either out or stopped EVERY time I go there. Which is a shame. The staff did not seem very enthusiastic...
Read moreI ordered the Halibut basket for $16.00 to go. It was delivered in a small brown paper bad sideways. Upon opening it I found 4 Halibut pieces and underneath was a small pile of fries. The Halibut fingers were small in my honest review. I would think a meal for $16.00 would come with bigger pieces. They were comparable to a chubby 5 year Olds fingers. The flavor of them was halfway decent. I asked for Cole slaw and dipping sauces. The Cole slaw came in a dipping sauce container as a side. I was also not feeling like this is what is anticipated or satisfied with when paying $16 for the basket and I'm not sure how much the ice tea was... maybe $3... $20 anywhere else and I would get an adult size meal. As you can read I did not like the small portions and didn't find it reasonably priced because of this. On a good note, the fries are always good here. The girl taking my order was awesome and...
