I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!

I came to this restaurant 30-40 minutes before closing with 2 other friends; the hostess greeted us with care. We were a little rushed to order our food because the kitchen planned to close early, understandable. After eating, the waitress brought out one ticket/bill without splitting it according to the 3 patrons at the table (myself and 2 other friends).

I provided my card to finalize the transaction to avoid confusion amongst the parties involved. As the waitress proceeded to finalize the transaction, she looked at me and said "would you like to provide an 18%, 20%, or 25% tip." I replied to say "zero." She replied and said "what is your reason for providing "zero" as your tip (while she still has my card in her possession). At that point, I began to get uncomfortable with her question(s) and her presence. Subsequently, I provided a $2 tip to alleviate the awkwardness of this experience.

BIG ISSUE HERE: she went to the cash register with my card and remained behind the counter for about 3 minutes before I noticed that my card was not with me. I left my table and retrieved my card. She handed me my receipt from the card reader that she had at the table during the awkward tip interaction. When I returned home and checked my back account, there was an attempt to defraud my checking account of THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS.

New Thailand was my only transaction that night. I did not stop for gas because I was not driving. I did not stop at an ATM or any other place before or after New Thailand. Her behavior at the table and taking my card back behind the counter led me to believe that the waitress attempted to defraud my card of $350 because she did not receive the tip she THOUGHT she deserved.

This type of behavior is irresponsible, reckless, illegal, and unprofessional. I am not aware of the waitress' name but she was a young lady in her late 20s or early 30s. I will not return to the restaurant ever again based on her line of questioning and the illegal attempt to defraud $350...

We just tried this place for the first time tonight and it was AMAZING!! We started with the chicken satay and shaomai and the shaomai was so good that my husband ordered another plate! For entrees I got the tofu red curry and Iโ€™m instantly obsessed! The sauce and veggies and tofu were cooked and flavored perfectly and I was really impressed with the eggplant pieces in the dish because not everyone can cook eggplant well but this was perfect! (The cute heated bowl with a tea light underneath was a plus, too) My two sons got the kids crispy chicken meal and (I kid you not) it was an ENTIRE piece of chicken katsu sliced in the traditional manner with a generous portion of rice and steamed veggies. They left nothing behind on their plates :) my daughter had the beef pad see ew, which is her favorite dish at all Thai restaurants, and even she was super excited about it, saying that this is โ€œtotally our new go toโ€ my husband is super picky... heโ€™s from Indonesia and usually doesnโ€™t like non-Indonesian fried rice, but he LOVED the spicy chicken fried rice... so much in fact that he wanted to make sure I mentioned how picky he usually is in this review to accentuate how highly he thought of the fried rice! ;). I brought home another order of beef pad see ew and an order of spring rolls for my mom and she was also very pleased with the flavor of the noodles as well as the crisp texture of the spring rolls and she also commented on how good and unique the dipping sauce for the spring rolls was. Also, I canโ€™t forget to mention how sweet the young lady and young man serving us were. They gave crayons and paper for our little one and were just really nice and attentive. Long story short, I highly recommend this place and weโ€™ll be back soon! Thanks for...

This is probably my best Thai experience in town. This place has amazing decor, and warm yellow lights, that instantly make your heart happy as you enter. The food makes your heart happier. We took the quintessential Thai iced tea, crab rangoon, and fried calamari to start off. My friend took the hot tea that came in a nice little pot and cup. For main course, we took crusty salmon, pork ribs, choo chee curry, and suki hang. The dishes looked beautiful and tasted amazing. For pork ribs, one can customize the spice level - mild, medium, medium plus, hot, very hot. We tried the medium plus and it was so good! Finally, for dessert, we had fried ice-cream, roti w/ ice-cream and fried banana w/ ice-cream. I liked the fried banana one the best. It was essentially mashed banana put into a fried crust, and tasted heavenly with the vanilla ice-cream and strawberry. The waitress was also very warm and greeted us beautifully as we left. Overall, amazing experience, would visit again. 6 out of 5 stars. Edit: please try the Chive dumpling for starters and mango sticky rice...

I love this Thai restaurant! There are at least 4 or 5 Thai restaurants in Lebanon, but this one is the best in terms of ambience and food quality. The environs are gorgeous and matter much for those of us who are particularly aesthetically-driven. Each dish which I've tasted here has been delicious. The staff who work here are all polite and efficient. It's not like a warm, homestyle Thai place, it's an elevated Thai dining experience but as quaint as can be. The rice is perfectly firm and a little sticky as I love. The tea is flavorful and good. Presentation is everything here, but the flavors back it up. The aromatics of the cooking are obvious as soon as you walk in, and definitely border on exquisite for this region. I've loved the curries I've tasted, as well as the Thai Iced Tea. I can see why people drive in for miles away to come here. I've heard it before - via word of mouth - not just in these reviews.

This is a hidden gem in the Hanover- Lebanon area! So happy to have discovered this amazing Thai place. Beats all the other Asian joints in the area by a huge margin! You know a restaurant has great food when all three courses - appetizers, mains and desserts - leave you wowed! The cuisine is very authentic and not greasy at all! The staff is extremely courteous and the service is excellent (Gordon Ramsay style execution speed!!)! The shumai that we ordered for appetizers were most generously stuffed with shrimps. I uploaded the picture of the empty bowl of my main course to tell how good the five-spice beef soup was! And the Thai street food dessert Roti with ice cream made us enter food heaven! Must visit for everyone starved of good places to eat in Hanover / Lebanon area!!
