BUYER BEWARE!! Extremely stressful, very frustrating and disappointing experience! I am traveling back home to Texas from South Carolina with my two young children. We stopped for the night at a hotel in the area. After driving all day, unloading the kids and all the luggage (by myself), getting everyone cleaned up and settled, etc, I decided to order pizza for dinner because I didn’t feel like going back out. The estimated delivery time of 42 - 52 minutes ended up being pretty accurate, so that wasn’t an issue. The young lady who delivered the pizzas was very friendly. I specifically asked her if the extra garlic and cheese sauces that I ordered / paid for were in there and she told me yes. Come to find out a few minutes later, they were not. By the time I realized the sauces weren’t in the boxes, she was already pulling out of the hotel parking lot. The cheese sticks looked ok, as well as my kids’ pizza (half cheese / half pepperoni), even though the cut for the pizza was pretty uneven (a few really small slices and then a few really big slices). I went ahead and gave my kids their food before I even looked at my pizza. They were very hungry and ready to eat (especially after waiting right at an hour for the delivery). While serving my kids, I attempted to call the store in the hope of catching the delivery driver, having her return with the sauces that I paid for. Little did I know, there was NO CHANCE of that happening! You might as well forget about calling this location because it’s a lost cause! After being on hold for a minute, someone picked up and immediately hung up the phone. I called back a second time. After listening to the recording for several minutes, a girl picked up and quickly said “please hold”, and I proceeded to be on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and called back a third time. Same thing, and this time on hold for TWENTY minutes. Meanwhile, I discovered that my pizza (Hawaiian) was incorrect. I asked for only Canadian bacon, no regular bacon. The pizza had just the opposite. The appearance was terrible, very sloppy and undercooked. At this point, I had hung up and called the store yet again. I cleaned up after my kids, wiped their faces and hands, brushed their teeth, etc etc etc, all while on hold. I have my kids put their shoes on (in their pajamas), because I have no choice but to load up and go to the store in person (after traveling all day and now it is dark / nighttime, and I’m having to load up my kids and go back out). I get to the store, and observed several employees inside. There was NOBODY on the phone. Nada. The employees didn’t appear that busy, certainly didn’t seem stressed or overwhelmed. I sat in the parking lot and looked inside for several minutes before pulling up to the pick up window. The kicker…? I was STILL on hold on the phone. I stayed on the line, so I could show them. The first young lady employee that I spoke to was nice enough, and apologetic. I told her that I didn’t want anything remade at this point, just wanted a refund. After waiting a few minutes, the manager came to the window. She too was apologetic and nice. She claimed that they were short staffed and supposedly had employees walk out / quit, leaving them in a bind. She also said the ovens had gone out on them for a period of time. Sure, those things COULD be true, but it just seemed like a bunch of BS excuses to me (especially when I didn’t see anyone on the phone inside the store upon my arrival, nor for several minutes afterwards). I would be more inclined to believe the sad story given, if I didn’t see so many other similar complaints here in the reviews. This location obviously has some serious issues that need addressed / fixed. Again, the employees and manager were pleasant and apologetic, and the manager refunded my money (which was the bare minimum that could be done after spending $50 and the hassle involved). Order from here at your own risk (and good...
Read moreTHIS IS THE BEST PAPA'S ANYWHERE!!! The quality of all papa"s is consistent as far as I am concerned. I think the difference is management. You have to take care of the customer period! You can have the best product in the world and bad management and you will crash and burn. On my last trip to pick our perfect Papa's I told the manager how happy we are that our Papa's is back in Leeds. I explained that the quality at pizza hut has never been great. He never took a shot at them but did explain the difference between the way the two chains define quality. He told me that Papa's never freezes their dough its always fresh, it was an ah ha moment I never thought about the crust I always thought about the sauce and toppings. He is right though Papa's is the only pizza I eat the entire piece of pizza (the garlic butter helps). I only have one issue with Papa's you only put one pepper in the box, there should be one per slice...jus sayin Great job Leeds,Al... keep making em we'll keep eating em The Smith...
Read moreSince they can’t keep employees long enough, I had to order through Door Dash to get a delivery. The initial delivery time was 7:02 which was an hour. The time kept pushing back so I called the store and the girl who answered said there was 12 people ahead of me and the initial delivery time was 7:25. When I said that wasn’t true and she was lying, she started arguing with me, talked over me, wouldn’t let me speak and then hung up on me. No wonder that store will be shut down too!! The only way you’ll ever get a hot pizza within an hour is if you pick it up yourself. If you’re a struggling restaurant, you definitely don’t need bad attitude brats working there who hang up on you because they’re too childish and lazy to address the situation. Don’t waste your time ordering from this location!
Oh yeah, didn’t even get the pizza. Called Door dash at 7:20 and they were like, “yes I see your order is late.” I ended up cancelling the order after waiting an...
