Review/complaint sent to Corporate on 7/20/17
I sent my daughter to the Leeds, AL restaurant to get dinner for us. She came home with the meals, looked in the bag, & realized that they neglected to include the waffle fries with her meal.
Distraught, I immediately called the restaurant. It was 8:56 when I called. A young girl picked up and I explained to her what had happened & that I was leaving to come get the missing fries. She cheerfully apologized, & then told me that was not an option as they were closing. She then went on to say that they would send me something in the mail & asked for my address.
I told her I didn't want something in the mail, I wanted my fries. She said that that was impossible (still before 9pm) & that she could not help me. I told her that I wanted a full refund then since this had now ruined our meal. I didn't even eat my sandwich, which I will be returning in person tomorrow morning first thing.
I drove to the restaurant anyway out of curiosity since I knew that there would still be customers inside most likely. There were. I watched from the lot as the staff excitedly scurried around the restaurant cleaning tables, windows, and floors.
I wish that Chik fil a had treated me as exuberantly as they did closing down the restaurant. Guess they demonstrated where their priorities truly were. Certainly not their guests.
One last bit of advice, if you're not going to serve your customer & give them what they've paid for, don't be so disingenuously cheerful about it!...
Read moreCame in this morning and ordered a breakfast bowl. I asked for extra sausage which was $1.50 when I got my bowl. There were three tiny slices of sausage on it. I walked to the counter and told the girl there must be some mistake because I paid almost 8 dollars for this bowl and there’s almost nothing on it. very few eggs and chicken too. I asked for extra cheese on it and it wasn’t even melted. She said oh they cut the sausage in half for the order. For $1.50? I said that when I go through the drive-through it’s never so small and she snipped real quick and told me” then they were doing it wrong”. She was so rude to me. She was rude to the lady, working the front counter as well .. I called to speak to a manager and The same woman answered the phone. I asked for the store manager which she wouldn’t help me. After asking her many times she then passed me to another wiman who I asked if she was the store manager and she wouldn’t answer. I literally asked her 10 times. She wouldn’t give me the store managers number I’m honestly shocked at how this played out. I’ve even worked at Chick-fil-A before and never treated anyone like this. She has a horrible attitude And the second girl I spoke with, is no better. It’s sad, because there are several workers here that are amazing. Read moreWe frequent this location at least bi weekly. Unfortunately, since their renovation, the cuatomer service, speed of service, and acuracy are all severely lacking. In the last few weeks especially, our drive thru orders have been consistently incorrect. On one visit, the trash receptacles inside were overflowing, with trash even in the kid play area, though the restaurant wasn't busy at that time. Last week, the drive thru missed several of our items, luckily I caught it before driving away. It took them 3 more times, on that visit,before they had the correct order. Today, they forgot my kids ice cream cup. I had to go inside for it, which then in return, made me become caught up in the lunchtime drive thru traffic,which due to the new set up,is near impossible to get out of. The restaurant seems to be staffed with too many teenagers, who would rather play with one another, than help the customers or maintain correct orders. The worst thing, is when they make a mistake, they're extremely nonchalant and rarely apologize. I've reached out before, privately on Facebook, but unfortunately the problems never seem to be addressed or corrected. I hate to be "that person",but the issues aren't improving. I'm sure that we'll continue to go, for the convenience and because my children love the food, but I just wish I would see the values and work ethic that CFA is known for, return, especially for the amount of money that...
