Subject: Disappointing Food Quality – Order H 228
Dear Taco Bell Team,
I’m reaching out about a disappointing experience I had with my recent order from your location (#029120) on Christmas Eve (Order H 228, picked up at 4:11 PM). I’ve had issues with quality from this restaurant before, but this time it was particularly upsetting, especially given that I spent nearly $50 expecting a decent meal for my family.
Here’s what happened: Chicken Flatbread Melt (Modified) • I ordered it with no chicken, added steak, and spicy ranch. What I got was a flatbread that looked and tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer for hours. It seemed like the chicken was just scraped off, a tiny amount of steak was thrown on, and the wrapper had actually molded to the flatbread. 10-Piece Chicken Nuggets • These were tough and tasted like they had been sitting for hours, then dunked back in grease to reheat. They had a strong taste of old fryer oil. Cheesy Double Beef Burritos (6) • While the burritos were okay in terms of customization (paid for added onions), they didn’t have a single onion on it Beef Chalupa • The chalupa was stale and clearly not made fresh.
On a night like Christmas Eve, I expected better. It’s frustrating to spend $50 and get food that honestly felt like it wasn’t prepared with care. This is not the first time I’ve experienced something like this at this location, but it was by far the worst.

We weren’t sure what was cold at first, but knew nothing we ordered should be cold. I poked around with my finger trying to feel what was cold, pulled out some of the egg, not cold. Picked off some of the hash-brown, not cold. Grabbed 3-4 pieces of the bacon, stone cold. We went back to the store, my husband went inside to ask for a refund and they told him that the “bacon comes cold”. They offered to make it with steak instead because that was not cold. Why would one meat come cold and the others wouldn’t? It makes no sense what so ever. My husband informed them that he is a former shift manager at Taco Bell, therefore knows all meat needs to be at least 165°F before it gets sold to a customer. After hearing that, they refunded our money (in cash instead of refunding it back onto the card we paid with. Not that I mind, it just goes against Taco Bell’s refund policy according to my husband) and we left there with, literally and figuratively, a bad taste in our mouth. The owners and managers of this Taco Bell really need to look into why there are serving cold meat. When I pulled up I asked Destine if they did and if they weren't made yet to leave it and off she got an attitude and told me they were made it wasn't her problem. I kindly asked 3 times with no response if I could order 2 more with no sour cream. She then takes my bag of food and aggressively pushes it into my hands. After enough of her attitude I said I asked you three times if I can order two more with no sour cream. No one was in line behind me, She then yells at me that she was busy and that isn't how it works if I wanted anything else, and I needed to drive around and order it through the speaker. After her yelling at me, I asked to speak to a manager and she says I am the manager. I responded you can't be the manager Talking to me like I'm stupid. Then she takes a drink and throws it into my car all over me and my son, Knocking him in the head with ice and soaking both of us.
