As we were driving through Leesburg, I was put to task to find a reasonably priced restaurant. When I saw the name "Magnolia's", I was immediately intrigued.

Let me tell you, from the street side, unless you knew ahead of time, you probably wouldn't think they would serve anything other than beer and booze. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised that they had a nice assortment of seafood items. We both ordered the fried fish sandwiches which came with toasted bread, homemade tartar sauce and hush puppies, seasoned fries and sliced tomatoes which tasted like they were grown locally. We literally didn't say anything for 10 minutes. THAT WAS HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS!!!

I highly recommend it if anyone is up for trying something fun and off the beaten path. If you have a drive ahead of you and beer/wine aren't in the cards, their sweet tea with fresh lemon is just what the...

What isn’t there to love about Magnolias?

I am not someone who likes any kind of shellfish but let me tell you we come here every Friday night for their fried shrimp and crab legs.

This is by far one of the best food places in Leesburg. We highly recommend anything off the menu but the fried shrimp by itself is a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - their clam chowder is also delicious if you want something that warms you up on the inside.

The atmosphere is also great, and while the place is a little small, you have different seating options from tables, to booths, to the bar, and even seating outside. They also have a jukebox if you’re feeling like listening to your favorite songs with other people.

The service is also amazing. The entire staff is very welcoming, and they remember us down to our favorite drinks now.

I honestly can’t recommend this...

My uncle and I went to this hole-in-the-wall seafood joint after some local recommendations; We were not disappointed. We enjoyed 12 raw oysters and a couple of beers for appetizers and my were they delicious, and very fresh.

For our entree, we had fried grouper sandwiches with fries. We were a little disappointed they didn't have a grilled or blackened option but hey, what can ya do? The sandwich was big and flavorful, the Tartar sauce was delicious and the fries were crispy.

The owner came out to bring our food and checked on us frequently. We had a nice conversation she was very sweet. I look forward to visiting her and this gem of a locally-owned...

What a great find this was for us. The food was great and it was a good time. Some reviewers have called it a “dive” environment - it’s not - it’s local, it’s unique, it’s fun and it’s reasonable. We went on a Thursday and got the specials shown in the photo. A pound of peel and eat shrimp and a bucket of steamed garlic butter clams. Came in just under $20 and danged delicious! (Almost gone by the time I got my camera out.) UPDATE- 10/24/19 Returned to this place after several months and it’s still 5 stars! 1 lb shrimp and a bucket of clams for $18.99! They have this little “make it a dinner” thing and you get french fries, hush puppies, garlic toast and veggies.

So I’m from out of town and I found this place and of course I love oysters. So I decided to stop in and check it out. I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar had one beer and I got the fried oyster platter and then I finished off with six oysters raw. I can say if I lived here in town, this would be my local hangout because it was really a nice atmosphere very family friendly fun. They have outdoor seating, indoor dining and bar seating. So they open a 50 pound sack of oysters, pour them into the ice and then shuck them in and open them right in front of you. Stop by and check them out. They’re pretty cool. Enjoy !! I sure did
