Food is good as it's always been. Concerned about the after hours staff and even more concerned about the extremely high prices. It's not just here it's everywhere however due to the quality of food here compared to, let's say McDonalds the price increase is more noticeable. I graduated high school in 96 and back then I could get a double meet combo for $7. Now it's slightly over double that. Ok so real quick in my last two visits... Arrived around 2am. Some drunk was being arrested in the drive thru line so I had to go inside. I waited about twenty mins to be helped and I still had to use the app to order. A employee on her break informed me that the register person never came back from break and so nobody could help me. Kitchen drive thru crew were nice but couldn't operate register. Never offered a discount or apologized to. Manager was AWOL. Last visit I had a doordash to pick up. I had to wait about 15 mins for food and I met the first rude worker. Since doordash was new at this time for whataburger a rude young blonde came to help him. She gives me a nasty look and said look what is the order. I started telling her and she said here it is to the other worker looking at the screen. Then she proceeded to go back and get in a group of five or six kitchen workers and yell 'GROSS WHO FARTED " as all the workers scatter in different directions. Read moreI went in for an open interview, which I had been told earlier in the week after applying by several managers that open interviews were done on Thursdays and Fridays and that the store really needed people for either shift. so Thursday I went in to speak with the General Manager of the store as I was told and the store wasn't busy at all, no rush or anything, I took a seat and waited to be seen. I work for Checkers so I had on my uniform for the job I was headed to. Finally she came and told me that she didn't do open interviews, that they didn't need people, as I was expressed to early in the week and encouraged by other managers to apply. However she took my name, didn't write it down or anything, and said she would call if I was needed. Later, that evening I came back into the store to see she was interviewing, a white student, face full of hair and ect. I looked through the store and it was full of whites, and only 2 black workers out of about 10 people. Wow. Major slap in the face! I was only led to think that it was a racial thing, of why I didn't even get a chance at a job there.. This store doesn't deserve this star..... General Managers...
Read moreAbsolute horrible experience on my last visit. Only one register open so I tried the kiosk for my order and was very disappointed. Picking the items was easy enough, but checkout was confusing. Kept asking for a tent number, but there were none around, so I made up my own number and it allowed me to place the order but without payment. I waited in line for 5 minutes to verify that the order was placed and it had been. The store's general manager was there but could only accept cash at her register so I was forced to get in line behind a large family, so another wait was in store. In the meantime, my order was given to me and the fries were cold, so I asked for fresh fries. I ate the burger while waiting for the fries. I went to fill my beverage cup, only to find no ice available. Upon leaving, the garbage can was overflowing and I had to make room in the can to fit my trash. I tried to comment on the McDonald's website, but every time I put in the location, it took me to another site...as if they knew about the service and didn't want to hear about it.
