Ordered from here a few times and overall it's alright.
Location: close to burger King but in an area that can be hard to get in/out of due to traffic. Limited parking that's sometimes shared with the Mexican restaurant next door.
Atmosphere: outdated, the floors were a bit dirty (they dnt move the tables to sweep). Not too loud. Easy to order at the counter. Booths and tables available. Some booth seats are torn from usage. Drive-thru available.
Food: large variety and fairly priced. Crab rangoon, dumplings, egg rolls, honey chicken, lo mein, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, wings, hot & sour soup, steamed veggies, Foo young, general tso chicken, szechuan beef, pork, shrimp, etc. The food quality is ok. The lo mein needs more flavor, the crab rangoon have too much air in them, and the honey chicken is too watery.
Price: I felt comfortable with the price for the portion size. I paid $14 for 6 crab rangoon, lo mein, honey chicken and a drink.
Staff: Friendly. They are very short staffed but were quick with my order.
Overall, not horrible but not the best I've had. It's just ok if I'm wanting to get some quick lo mein and chicken without going to the...
Read moreI'd give it zero stars if I could.we were in the area and stopped in about 9:00.we were told we couldn't eat in bcuz the close at 10:30.so we ordered our food to go.lady at the counter was very rude.I ordered the honey chicken combo plate which looks like she just gave me a small rice(only fried rice with no veggies or shrimp or anything)and the honey chicken was in a metal to go tray with oil St the bottom and nothibg in the chicken at all.my boyfriend ordered a combi plate and got soup and a small nasty fried rice with nothing in it as well. Not what we ordered and no egg rolls either.upon calling and telling them the same woman who was working told us that the honey chicken is a family recipe and not like the buffets, well the buffets and every other restaurant we have ever eaten at is 100 times better than what we got here.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS...
Read moreSo I love all types of Asian food and have eaten Asian food all over the country. I’m not impressed with the broccoli and chicken dish that I got from here. First, the chicken (white meat) tasted old. Not rotten but old like they’d cooked it a week or more ago and it’d been sitting in the fridge awaiting the day it would finally get used. I noticed the same thing at the poor excuse for a Thai restaurant there as well. So I guess they’re trying to save money/cut corners by preparing the chicken way in advance. Secondly, there was no depth of flavor to the sauce. It was just salty. No smokiness no umami, nada-just salt. I could do better at home.
Now the good. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. So there’s that if you’re not too picky about...
