Every time I've come to this place it has been a, dare I say, 'starlight delight'! Even on this given occasion, during this pandemic, the manager/owner took necessary precautionary measures to ensure safety and did so with a joyous manner. As always, she is especially friendly and upkeeps the diner style atmosphere. It's a great place for family and friends, even a place for business associates to sit down for a quiet place to enjoy at their leisure. Definitely a must in such a town!

I ordered the starlite special (fried rice with beef bulgogi and three yakimandu) and it was disappointing to say the least. The bulgogi should be called shugogi since it tasted like straight brown sugar. As for the mandu, you are better off buying frozen ones from the supermarket...10 times better. There is no love in their cooking and they try to get you to comeback due their portions. I'm not even Korean and I'm embarrassed...What a darn shame.

Coming from 6 years in Hawaii and having a huge love for this kinda food and atmosphere. This really is one of the best places in leesville if your culturally diverse in food, top three spots for sure, great service a absolute gem tucked away. And cash only purchases just feel right. Atm at circle k if you need to pull cash.

First time visit... Only time visit. I, my wife and stepson decided to try something new. Since we got there shortly after it opened, the place was empty, so finding a table was not an issue. We were handed menus and ordered our drdrin. Within minutes we had our drinks and we were ready to place our order.

Our order consisted of the Starlite Special (Fried rice with shrimp, beef and chicken), Bulgoki with white rice,Yakimandu, and 3 egg rolls. The Starlite Special was overly salty. Now I know that there is a degree of saltiness, but this was over kill. The Yakimandu was over deep fried and had minimal filling. I had more filling in a ravioli. The Bulgoki was watery and lacked flavor. The forgot about the three egg rolls. When we reminded them about the egg rolls, they were promptly served. When my stepson bit into an egg roll, a large portion of grease and water fell onto his plate and covered his hands and mouth. The center of the egg rolls were still frozen.

One star given for the portions of the food. But if you can not consume the food, the portion to cost is irrelevant. Maybe others have a good time, but not going back and not recommending it either. Better to get take out from the other Chinese restaurants...

Stopped in to get a hot meal before going into work...I was hoping for some vegetable fried rice but was not on the menu...settled on the Starlite Special...wow...it was special...the portions were what I would call over generous...I had to actually work at it to clean my plate...the bulgogi was terrific...the fried rice great too...the yakimondo was almost a distraction...and would have been if it wasn't so good...I love big bang for my buck and when you throw in quality it is win win win...stuffed to the gills like that heading into a 12 hour shift was a laughable mistake...I just wanted a nap...uggh ....but let me tell you this...it took me thru the whole shift no cravings and no trips to the snak machine...I will be doing this again...soon I hope. Get my star of recommendation...and make that a gold...

Delicious food and great service. My family and I stopped in here for lunch and we're glad we did. We all ordered different things - starlite special, sweet and sour chicken, kalbi and rice, and udong noodles...along with cabbage kimchi and cucumber kimchi. Personally, I thought the starlight special was the best dish and the cucumber kimchi was AMAZING.....and this is coming from someone who typically avoids kimchi like the plague because of flavor and spice level. ISide Note - it's been 5 months and I'm still raving about the cucumber kimchi!)

The owners were so kind and wonderful to talk to. Being from Houston, we have wide selection of Korean restaurants to choose from, so we were quite impressed with the food here. Definitely recommend giving this place a try and make sure to get the...
