Hometown Hangout — Restaurant in Leitchfield

after my third trip to hometown hangout I do not believe we will be back. first trip was by far the best other than the food being cooked a little too long. second trip (carry out order) made me sick to my stomach, greasy; as well as everyone’s order having something wrong with it. (no phone number listed to of called and reported our concerns with our meals) third trip our server was good, however it took FOREVER to get drinks and twice as long to get refills. food was cold once that was received. the icing on top the cake though was when we got there the owner came over and talked to us, recommended food, etc. that wasn’t the problem, but whenever the people I was with got cut off from the bar and we asked to speak with the owner he wouldn’t come back over. yes several drinks had been drank, but I was the DD. I had no alcohol. I get there are rules/regulations that may have to be followed but the ones drinking weren’t causing a scene, didn’t seem to appear drunk or rude. then when this lady comes over and one of the people I’m with said they would not be back she proceeds to tell someone else that he was cussing at her. HE NEVER SAID A WRONG WORD TO HER other than he wouldn’t be back. mind you we had been there since a little after 2pm till almost 6pm. everyone’s always “shop local”, the people I was with go to a bar every weekend, outside of the county. they was excited to have something close by but apparently it’s more of a restaurant or for younger people, idk. definitely some kinks that need to be worked out and better communication should be at the top of that list. you can not run a successful business without a phone number for one or being able to speak to a...

first time we went was amazing decent price. affordable amazing people who work there sweet kind an amazing! 2nd trip still amazinggg workers sweet kind an respectful but we got the house burger with loaded fries thinking the house burger an loaded fries was something good being 12.99 or 13 bucks would be fresh patted out and fresh ground beef all together since it was high priced .. no it’s a frozen burger with canned chili on the fires an you can definitely taste that it’s not fresh meat an chili could had made it cheeper at home with a case of beer for cheaper then all the added tax was something i never seen before… beer luckily was price decent but the food is over priced for frozen cooked food an canned stuff the burgers was maybe a 8.99 burgers with fries that should had been maybe been 9.99 bucks all together overly priced if i was you i would just order beer an appetizers … for two people we paid 53 something when i can go to texas road house for better an just a few bucks more for...

first off ive been waiting to eat here since they open but i have major anxiety and cant go in crowded places we were headed hom from grocery shopping and saw there were very little cars in the parking lot so we stopped. the host was amazing. our kiddo got to eat free because it was Tuesday. server was polite very friendly and attentive. we had pretzel bites that were amazing. kiddo had pizza with mac and cheese which was very good husband had the honey bbq wings they were a little under suaced but still very good and i had the bbq burger with a mountain of crispy thick fries my only complaint which was my own fault was my burger didnt come with cheese but its something u jave to ask for so im not upset at all cuz i missed that part. overall very pleased with our experience and will definitely come back next time...
