I wish I could give no stars honestly. Our visit started out good the waitress seemed kind and was trying to give us deals for our meals. Told us that it was free waffle day and that any waffles we ordered would be free (even if we wanted strawberries on them). She also told us that if she bundled what we ordered for our children it would be cheaper. In the end that is not how she rung everything up. While we were there my boyfriend noticed some health violations such as none of the cooks were wearing gloves as they were touching and serving the food to the public! Our waitress was about to bring us our waffle and he witnessed her drop her dirty glove onto our waffle pick it up and was going to proceed with serving us that same waffle. So he stood up and said something and made a scene then a different waitress tried to challenge him and was being very rude! Saying do you have a problem sir because you can just go ahead and leave would you like to just leave? Mind you we had our two children with us at the time. Then when we went to go check out the waitress read out my total… $74!!!! For freaking HUDDLE HOUSE!?!?! Are you kidding me? Turns out the two waffles we ordered with strawberries that were supposed to be FREE I got charged for. $20 for those two waffles, then on top of that the meal we ordered for our children, which they split because it was literally just eggs bacon and hash browns, were charged separately instead of bundled into a meal like she said she would do to make it cheaper before we ordered. Needless to say we will NEVER be back. Completely unhygienic and clearly they need to keep their waitresses informed on the policies for certain sale days so other people won’t get jipped and charged almost $100 for a meal that wasn’t worth $20. HORRIBLE...
Read more8/8/20 around 10:15 to 10:30 am. To the waitress who decided to yell at us about masks when we entered.( Not the older lady waitress. She is very friendly and always gives great service. ) Now to the rude one, you could have kindly walked up to us and said it is mandatory to wear the mask until your food arrives. You did NOT have to yell across the restaurant and be that loud. If you are that scared then YOU need to find a job that does not work in the public. As for masks, my husband and I both had them. We did not walk by anyone and had a good 6’ distance. And for the masks you had on the table in the restaurant, they were up by the cash register. So how the heck did YOU expect anyone to get one IF they didn’t actually have one and have to walk by other customers????? I do believe the manager needs to look into this waitress and her mannerisms. You do not treat the public the way she did and expect anyone to ever eat there. I have gone to this restaurant over 14 years now and this is the first time I have ever had someone to just plain out yell. My husband had his mask in his hand and she kept yelling that “YOU NEED A MASK”! If management does nothing, then I believe who ever owns this establishment needs to know. And know this shouldn’t ever happen....
Read moreA delicious gem ♡♡ After entering the cheerful front door I was greeted with a friendly diner atmosphere. The long bar immediately attracted me as families sat around enjoying their meals. I know it sounds silly but instead of flashing back to my own experiences of diners I was like Dean and Sam Winchester are totally gonna walk in 😍😂 (I may have a bit of a Supernatural obsession) The friendly staff and clean venue was a great start to get me in a eating mood. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade and it came in this really cute tall glass (I am soo sick of plastic yay!) The flavor is fantastic wooo 500 more Points! I had a fluffed and veggie stuffed w prime rib tips omelet. Omg. I'm telling ya'll..wow. So good. Juicy, an explosion of good flavor, and made with good energy. I am beyond impressed. My side of hashbrowns had swiss, red pepper, green pepper, and onions. No more hash browns with ketchup for this girl my taste buds have been elevated 😍😂 I also tasted my dates jalepeno pepper and it was delicious. Chopped jalepeno in cheddar and fried to golden gooey yummy goodness. A took a nibble of his club chicken sandwich and it is official their breakfast And lunch are jammin ♡♡ It might be a cpl hrs from home but I am gonna find my way back here for sure!...
