McDonald's — Restaurant in Leitchfield

This is by far my favorite McDonald's, although I only stop at this one once a month on my trip to Elizabethtown to see all of my specialists (Doctor's), which I have been doing for that past two years. I give 5 stars because the staff is always friendly, my food is always hot and fresh, and also because they have never messed up my order & if there are issues such as products not being available due to me using curbside 90% of the time, they will ago above & beyond to make the replacement extremely worth it (as in more than they should) which always overrides the let down & frustrations of not getting what I may have actually wanted. All the other McDonald's I've been to have always messed something up that was ordered one way or another. I also came to add that every morning that I am there, I notice an employee always outside sweeping up the litter from all the rude people that do the littering & that employee is there everytime tidying up the parking lot, which to me shows that attention to the detail and cleanliness is of importance to that store's management / supervisors / owners (I'd franchise owned). I have also been inside a couple of times, and the store is always clean and neat. That also speaks volumes on top of my always pleasant...

Visited on a Tuesday around lunch. We were leaving town from camping and decided to stop by. Dined via ordering to go inside. Upon my arrival, ordered at kiosk and it wouldn't read my card. Took receipt to desk to pay, after waiting 10 minutes to do so. Young girl behind the counter was completely lost but I feel doing her best. Once order was paid for stood in line yet again for another 20+ minutes waiting for order. While waiting I observed MANY (6+) young workers standing around. Some chatting, some coming in from break and clogging the lines by chatting, some cutting lines and ordering food from their friends who work there. A few standing in back in front of the two people actually working. One manager was coming in and out and completed two interviews with possible new hires in the time I waited. She was no help to those of us waiting.

Also observed three people come in from drive thru needing their orders corrected. I promptly checked my bag before leaving. Order was correct but did have to ask for cups to get drinks.

I don't ever leave reviews, but this can't go untold. Do not go there in the mornings through the week. I have been there 3 times this week, with a 12-17 minute wait in the drive through. Today, I was in the inside lane, 3 people on the outside lane placed their order before I was even acknowledged. Then I get up to pay, she repeated my order, which was correct, except she had a small coffee and not large. When I told her I wanted a large coffee, oh boy. Her facial expression went blank, she was confused. she looked at the screen and began to repeat my order. I said correct, but large coffee, not small. She then said oh, I don't see that order on the screen, then looked for someone to help her. Unbelievable!! So, I looked at her said said I tell you what, I am going to make this really easy on you, forget the order, I'm going to Burger King. On that side of town, with all the factories, they really need people in the mornings that are efficient and quick at...
