My car is on the fritz and after a long day teaching public school art I was turned away for having a backpack containing my laptop and grade book. I was told I had to take it to my car. I explained I didn’t currently have one, and asked if I could set it behind the bar. I was told no and that they couldn’t be liable for it. Harry's used to be THE PLACE to go to grab a drink. New Management has taken over and the bar has gone way down hill. If you're going out during the day for a beer, Harry's is fine. But at night? It is a genuinely dangerous place to be. Fights break out nearly everytime I'm there. Unsavory characters have taken over the bar. Stopped in Harrys for a friend's birthday last night for abot the second time in years and it felt like the old Harrys days. Awesome staff, and great atmosphere.
