Pawn King — Local services in Springfield

Everytime I come here the employees, maybe all except one, are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Ive been going here almost three years for purchases and loans, and obviously they could care less about there customers. Without your customers, you have no business! Pawn King has not been my first choice, so for the past few months I've been going to Stevenson pawn and Monster pawn. SO TODAY, SINCE I WAS ON THAT SIDE OF TOWN, I DECIDED TO STOB BY....I NEEDED A LOAN FOR MY SOUNDBAR. SOME WEIRD LOOKING, TALL LIGHT SKINNED GUY HELPED ME AND INSTANTLY HE HAD AN ATTITUDE...TALKING ALL LOUD AND DEMANDING. I BRUSHED IT OFF, BECAUSE IT WAS TO BE EXPECTED. UNTIL HE THREW MY MONEY AND RECEPIT ON THE COUNTER, LIKE I DONT HAVE NO HANDS! I SAID, "THAT WAS DISRESPECTFUL" AND THE MANAGER'S RESPONSE, WHILE SMILING, WAS"I THROW MONEY ON THE COUNTER". WELL THAT CLEARLY EXPLAINS WHY HIS EMPLOYEES THINK IT IS OK. Once I get my soundbar out, I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. ONLY SUPPORT BUSINESSES THAT...

Springfield's Pawn King has always quenched our thirst for finding new items that obviously we couldn't live without!! They have a great range of everything. Most pawn shops that I've dealt with previously I haven't gone back to because there lack of variety. I'd rather go to one place and find multiple things instead of driving around. They have some awesome tools, guns, cameras, guitars, electronics, and most importantly swords and knives!! Each time we go (monthly) we end up with 5-15 knives/swords for our collection. The prices are great!! Matt, who is a cool dude gives us good deals when we bundle. So blessed to have found this great place. Would highly recommend this pawn shop!! We visited Springfield IL Pawn King searching for a couple items. Quickly located a generator being offered at a Manager's special pricing. It was an excellent deal and quality brand name equipment. I have been checking for a trucking gps and pleasantly surprised to find one today. Also in great condition and unbelievably priced. Shopping was pleasant as items are organized, priced, and available to test out. As a last minute idea I chose a wrench set , brand new as a Christmas gift. Finally and most importantly we checked out and were offered a $50 discount on our big item. Always feels like a win-win situation when shopping at Pawn King and working with store manager Dan.
