While returning home from the annual July 4th parade in Southport, our family of five stopped for lunch in Leland. Based on positive Yelp reviews, we chose Brodee Dogs Brew House.
This small eatery is tucked away in a shopping center, making it easy to miss. If you see Food Lion, you're in the right place. Brodee Dogs specializes in a build-your-own concept for both burgers and hot dogs, allowing customers to customize their meals to their liking.
We tried the burgers, hot dogs, french fries and onion rings. The onion rings were exceptional - beer-battered with great flavor. The burgers, made fresh to order with our choice of toppings, were delicious. We were equally impressed by the excellent customer service.
The build-your-own concept adds a fun, interactive element to the dining experience, making it great for families or groups with varied tastes. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or a gourmet hot dog creation, Brodee Dogs Brew House has you covered.
Overall, this place is a hidden gem worth seeking out. Highly recommended for a casual, tasty meal with plenty of options to satisfy everyone in your...
Read moreThe kid at the register was obviously new but went the extra mile, almost 2 much. I took my 2 and 5 year-old and I got them kids meals and a me one hot dog and it was $26. That was after I cut their two hot dog deal back to one hotdog! I got one fried hot dog the kids chicken finger meal and the kids hot dog corn dog bites. For regular hot dogs it was extremely expensive and they were just hot dogs. I don't think I'll return just because the prices aren't transparent or well displayed so I felt a little suckered when that extreme hot dog price popped up. I've only had one so I can't comment on anything but the fried hot dog and the kids meals. The kids meals are pretty good but we're so incredibly hot that my two-year-old burnt his tongue and finger. The fried hot dog was not so great. If you live in Brunswick forest and have money to burn then I guess maybe it's okay but for those of us expect a decent priced hot dog for a hot dog, it leaves a lot to be desired. Sorry guys. It would make it a lot more worth it if you could also get a hamburger there just as a way to give advice. I...
Read moreBrodee Dogs Brew House - I had lunch with my son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren on Saturday. The bill for lunch came to $58.57. The food was good and the service was good, HOWEVER, I will not be going back. Each child had a kid's meal. One with ketchup and one with ketchup and mustard. Brodee's charges 52 cents for each condiment. For the haters, I left a 20% tip and it wasn't until I got home and looked at my bill thinking, this seems like an awful lot of money for hotdogs. Again, yes, all in all we had 7 hotdogs, each person had a side and a drink but the charge for ketchup and mustard it insane!!! On a side note, I called to speak to Wendy the owner or even a manager and Wendy, I am told is never there, and the manager might be there tomorrow. I asked about the ketchup and the gentleman hung up on me. Yeah, I'll be getting hotdogs at Hardees or Food Lion...
