We tried Milly's Ice Cream Shop for the second time tonight. It was 6:15 pm we were the only customers. I ordered 5 milkshakes, 1 extra thick. Extra thick is $2 more than a regular shake. My total plus tip was close to $45. We watched the staff weigh out the ice cream and the milk. Then proceed to leave part of the shake in the metal cups that they are blended in. I specifically asked if we could have, what appeared to be at least a 1/4 cup of ice cream left in the bottom of the cup and were told no that there wasn't any ice cream left. This young man had been reprimanded by the young woman for over filling the first cup, which was not even filled to the bottom of the cup lip. The staff were not friendly and like any place I'll try it twice but I won't go here again. I feel cheated. Either I'm paying by weight which means I should get everything in the cup or I'm paying by volume which means the cup should be full. I received neither and it was my second time... this tells me this is a business practice...

I like the shop however they hire some clueless teens. Today went in and ordered a coffee hot fudge sundae with wet walnuts. Clerk scoops the ice cream and then, tells me that they are out of hot fudge. She proceeds to say that she can substitute Herseys chocolate topping. What? I said why didn’t you tell me when I ordered. She said well if you don’t want the ice cream I guess I can eat it. I said well perhaps you can discount. No I can’t she replied. By now she was getting quite annoyed that I was annoyed. Had an unfortunate similar experience with a young man who felt it was more important to have a conversation with a friend who came in rather than wait on me.
