Miyabi Jr Express — Restaurant in Leland

I ordered take out, and the order taker wrote down my order incorrectly. The cooks made it exactly as order was written. I got home, and my order was wrong. I called the restaurant, but there was no answer & mailbox full. I went back and brought my recipet and the wrong order. I explained what happened...the lady took the receipt to a screen in the back and everyone huddled around to investigate what had happened, even though I already explained what happened...the lady returned and explained that this was an important process because there was a difference in price between the two orders, and that now I owed them 53 cents....I was fine with that and gave them their 53 cents....then they took the incorrect order and threw it in the trash, and I waited on my corrected order. ( Some places would have just let me keep it, but I get it, they don't want to get scammed). Then they handed me my corrected order without an apology....all this after I had tipped them for my carry-out order, when first placed. A tip is for outstanding service....and if I am going to receive rude service, you can forget about a tip, in the future. The next time I order, I will be as polite as always.... however....I will take each item out of the bag once received and inspect each item...if you can suspect that I am going through this convoluted process to steal 53 cents from you, after I already tipped you over 5 dollars for freaking carry-out.....then I can suspect that you can't do your job correctly. I am absolutely enamored with Miyabi Jr Express! This gem offers some of the most delectable hibachi steak I’ve ever tasted in the greater Wilmington area. The fried rice is a masterpiece—fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget the white sauce, which is nothing short of phenomenal, adding a perfect creamy touch to every dish.

One delightful surprise is their offering of Pibb Xtra, my all-time favorite soft drink. It's rare to find, and it’s a treat that elevates my dining experience every time. There have been numerous occasions where I’ve driven all the way from Wilmington just to indulge in their exceptional fare—it’s that irresistible!

The only thing missing is a location in Wilmington itself—hint, hint! Expanding here would undoubtedly make many loyal fans, including myself, incredibly happy. This place has a lot going for it. First off the staff is very friendly. The cashier was very nice and the staff all waived by as we left. I am so used to disaffected youth serving me with a depressed look that it stands out. At one point an employee came by with an order and giggled when we looked at her expectantly. It was cute and funny.

The menu is not too large, but they have some real nice items to choose from. I ordered a shrimp bowl for my wife. They come in two sizes and the small is a good portion. For myself I ordered a TNT roll and a Shrimp Tempura roll. I usually eat my rolls with some soy sauce, but the Miyabi sauce is real good. I found myself using it quite a bit.

The menu says 8 piece roll and they short changed me on both rolls since I was a take away order. I would suggest counting before leaving. Minus that this place is pretty good. I came in on Friday night and waited about 15 minutes for them to make our order. This place is also pretty clean and has a ton of parking.

I came back today to order some entrees for dinner and they were a good size. I got an order of Teriyaki Chicken for myself and my wife ordered the Hibachi Shrimp and Teriyaki Chicken. Portion sizes were big and my wait for take out was only about...
