I went here a few weeks ago but it really let me down. I thought the food would have tasted better. The chicken which is the Main entree was undercooked I say this because I don't like seeing any red near the bone of my chicken when I'm eating and it was slightly tough, it really turned me off. I ordered some tostones (fried plantain), wow that was extra huge and under cooked too didn't even have the classic taste. The desert was just alright, the sauces they have were not even that spicy, the . The only thing I really liked was the decor and logo which is sad but true. I may give it another shot. But highly unlikely. My overall impression was a well dressed restaurant with a nice flair but with overpriced fair tasting food. They apparently are the same owners or affiliated with El Chingon, I don't think I will step in there either.

Truly a perfect rotisserie chicken meal - fresh, brined rotisserie chicken, a delicious variety of side options (especially loved the slaw, corn salad, plantains) and a variety of sauces with different flavors and spices. It was hard to pick just one sauce, but especially loved the tangy mustard and Peruvian rocoto sauce. For a healthier option, you can get a “rice bowl” with lettuce as the base instead of rice, or with a smaller portion. They have a nice patio area for outdoor dining with a breeze and clean tables. We will definitely be back again and recommend for those looking for a delicious, hearty, flavorful meal in the Leland area!

First time coming here and must say it was amazing. I really enjoyed the chicken. I was upset that they were out of the mac and cheese, but their fried rice was really good. And it also had some small pieces of chicken in it. The potatoes were good. I put the amazing secret sauce on it and it was delicious. Would recommend the sauce with your meal. Also wanted to try the Victoria beer. It's a little expensive, but I guess it's worth having the authentic version. The staff were very polite and friendly. Overall experience was worth 5 stars.

Chicken was good, but nothing spectacular. The green beans were over cooked and tasted like they came straight from a can. The fries were over seasoned. Beyond all of that, the service was awful. The was only 1 table of people eating, so they were not busy. There were about 5 employees standing around and ignoring us when we went to place our order. They weren't rude, just didn't seem like they cared if we were there or not. The fries we ordered were not ready and they told us to have a seat and they would bring them to us. Needless to say we finished our entire meal and still no fries. We finally asked what was taking so long and the fries had been done for a while. They just forgot to dish them up or bring them to us.

On a strange note, they have a notice on the outside that reads "we don't call 911". I have never seen something like that before. Not sure if it is meant as a joke or what, but it is in poor taste either way.

I will not be...

Response to staff member that replied: Thank god you got rid of the manger recently. She was terrible. Your staff treated customers horribly. A friend went there a couple of days ago and the 1/4 white chicken was way over cooked and the roasted potatoes were not done. They were hard. Please have your staff cook the food appropriately. Your prices are not cheap for over cooked food or not cooked food. You have new employees now and the food is not as good I hear. Oh the owner(Eddie) is still in Mexico still I hear.

Don’t EAT there! Staff very rude, they are charging for portions that they are not giving customers. Less food, they are only filling their containers half full. I know Spanish and they were talking very rude about us. The manager that wears the hair net treats customers rudley and never smiles. I heard the owner got sent...
