Peterson's Main Inn — Restaurant in Lemont Township

I never write bad reviews, but we liked coming here until one night a local patron attacked my husband by grabbing him at the throat for accidently using her pool stick (after 30 minutes of using it). We play pool for fun and don't care which about a pool stick...The bouncer was on our side and yet the owner threw us out because she was too afraid to lose her weekend customer. It was so very unfortunate that we were treated this way and if you care about your safety and fairness, I wouldn't go here. If this would have been handled the right way, we would have came back the next day, but...

Super cool bar, cheap, wonderful prices, but the “bouncer” or door guy or whatever he fancies himself is a massive d-bag. Incredibly rude to the point where we all walked due to him being such a jerk. Scrutinized our IDs like we were trying to get into Fort Knox, but had no problem letting in 8 people he knew, no ID check at all. Just an unfriendly, unhappy guy. Kinda ruined it for me. Would not recommended, which is a shame because once you’re inside the place is cool… well until that guy starts walking around like he’s god. Go over to Canal Street. Way...
