I stopped by the new wok spot in town and honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed. The space is bright, clean, and smells amazing the moment you walk in. You can see the chefs working right behind the counter, tossing fresh veggies, noodles, and proteins in huge sizzling woks, which makes the whole experience feel fresh and exciting.
The menu has a great mix of classic stir-fries and more creative options. I tried the spicy chicken with noodles and my friend had the veggie tofu bowl. Both were full of flavor, not greasy at all, and served piping hot. Portions are generous without feeling heavy, and you can customize spice levels or toppings to your taste.
Service was another highlight. The staff greeted us right away, explained the menu with patience, and checked in to make sure everything was good without being pushy. Prices are fair for the quality and freshness you’re getting.
It’s rare to find a fast, casual place that still feels like it cares about each plate. This one does. I’m already thinking about what to try next time. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood and worth checking out if you like...
Read moreMissed the mark here. The atmosphere and set up were great. While the food is fresh and the concept is great, the menu is confusing. I have never been to a restaurant before and been told by the owner of an establishment that some vegetarians eat fish. It’s just not the case. I think it lacks knowledge about that dietary need and for a place that prioritizes freshness I just don’t get it. To label sauces, instead of dishes as vegan on a menu is unheard of. Also, if you can’t take fish out of a sauce it’s batched, not made fresh. I’ve never seen a dish with chicken as an ingredient labeled vegan. A previous menu I saw with “make your own” would have been great but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The initial excitement for a new, fresh non-fast food Asian place quickly faded when it took 20 minutes and the server could not tell us about the dishes and the confusing menu took the fun out of it. All told we were there about and hour and an half and will...
Read moreMy wife and I dinned inside last night for their grand opening event and are very happy to have them in Lemont! Being that our party has a gluten and a dairy allergy, we are typically hesitant of trying restaurants when they first open because we don't want to be their first difficult guests. However, there was nothing difficult about figuring out what to eat here. We had options for multiple appetizers, main courses and even desserts that were gluten feee and dairy free naturally. The staff was very helpful and right away was able to explain details about the chicken being in a shared fryer so it's safe for sensitivities but not allergies and helped us find what was best for us. Our dishes and drinks were delicious and we can't wait to come back to try more! We are so lucky to have so many gluten feee and dairy free options in Lemont but the addition of Wok'd just puts the whole town over the top as a place you must visit if you have dietary...
