By far worst service I have ever had!!! Now just from the waitress but also 2 other employees and the “manager”!!!!! I asked for a drink menu, never got one Asked for a big thing of cheese dip, never got it My daughter ordered rice, had a full conversation with the waitress about it, but never got it Ordered 2 shots, only got one, had to remind waitress about the other one and didn’t get the next shot till 40 minutes later Was my dads birthday, talked to the waitress about it but he never got his ice cream My aunt told the waitress as we were getting our food that she would like her to go order started now, waitress looked at her and said what to go order, my aunt says the one I have already asked you about After we got our food our waitress disappeared for about 45 minutes No plates were moved or cleaned off the table after we were done, probably because the waitress was no where to be found and we were her only table When we get our checks every single one was screwed up!! For instance I was charged for the rice my daughter never got and was charged for 2 orders or cheese dip when I never even got the one I ordered! Everyone in my party was upset, I assumed the waitress was overwhelmed with this huge mistake so I go to the host stand and ask a blonde waitress for the manager, she says nothing and walks away and I make eye contact with who I assumed was the hostess, nope that was the manager but she never said oh that’s me or any kind of acknowledgment but walked away Waitress is still not getting anything fixed and no manager has came by the table so we waited another 30 minutes for new tickets Well nothing was getting fixed so I ask someone else hey can we get the manager and the girl I asked blew me off said yep and walked away Still no manager so I asked someone else a third person hey who is the manager and she points to the girl behind the bar , so I am already mad realizing it was the same girl who I thought was just a hostes but I walk to the bar and wait, I get no acknowledgment but when I finally ask for her help she says “we” are doing what we can… umm no one was helping this waitress so this “manager” was doing nothing to help the situation or help the poor waitress who was getting tears in her eyes Moral this whole situation could have been helped/avoided. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and I have never in my life seen such bad service from not just the waitress but also 2 other employees and the “manager” who I am not convinced was the manager. I don’t think there was a manager there and if there was then this manager needs some training! Step up to the plate if you want the title, help your servers when they need it and unfortunately being the manager you have to deal with the upset people but the one from last night did absolutely nothing!! UPDATE: April 2019 I'm disappointed with the cleanliness and service. See below for details, but from the several things I noticed, I think cleaning well is a low priority and that needs to change if I'm going to go back. It wasn't just one or two things.

First table wasn't clean (I could feel stuff on it -- I mean, it was obviously wiped, but not CLEANED). Second table was similar. I asked them to clean the 2nd table for me so I could move to it. When visiting the restroom, I looked at the tops of other tables that were ready to seat people and the same problem existed... not cool.

Speaking of the bathroom, the whole area needs a deep cleaning. The door(s) in that hallway have that brown...ness where peoples' hands push on them. Both sides of the door to the men's bathroom, and the door to the kitchen area.

The floor was physically tacky. I get it if people spill soda every once in a while, but there are too many things stacking up against the restaurant for cleanliness here.

They weren't very busy at all, and we sat with empty salsa bowls for 4+ minutes and I had to wave the waitress down to get more. I was there with 2 children and we sat idle (not eating), indicating we were done, and she came to and fro through the area but she didn't check on us, and I waved a couple of times to get her to come over so I could ask for the bill, but she didn't notice. She was very reactive overall, forcing me to ask for things. Nothing wrong with her attitude, but just not good service.

In two visits we have had AMAZING service. Now the bad parts: The salsa and chips are, well, marginal. The chips are not warm when they arrive at the table, the salsa is more like spiced ketchup. The hot salsa was worse. The appetizer we ordered was a 1/2 order of guacamole. Un-impressive on any level. One of our entrees arrived so covered in runny beans and cheese that we couldn't tell if all of the ordered items had arrived. The other entree was supposed to have two types of meat but only ground beef was recognizable. And I had to ask for some pico de gallo. The pico was fresh and would have been a nice addition to everything we ever ordered to make the diner think the entire menu was fresh.

I judge a authentic Mexican restaurant by its green sauce. Margaritas does not have a green chili and pork sauce. Margaritas is not Mexican. Maybe Tex-Mex? I would say they MIGHT be a BAR that serves Mexican style fare, except for the margarita we ordered.

Yes, the WORST part of the experience was the drink that this restaurant(?) is named after. I ordered top-shelf tequila and premium triple sec. It came in a 16 oz tumbler. The mix was syrup-y sweet. Imagine 1.5-2 oz of Sauza Hornitos and .5 oz of Gran Marnier in 16 oz of sugar and you have the general idea.

I will NOT return to this restaurant. If the owners or management decide to make dramatic changes I will consider. This is a 1.5 star restaurant and 1 of the stars is...
