We ordered two dinners and upsized to large fries and extra fries instead of slaw. We order the same thing twice a week and are well aware of how the dinners usually look like. We paid and received our food and half way home my wife realized our order was wrong. One of the meals had slaw and only one of the trays had a small amount of fries. The other meal had a standard amount of fries. We turned around and drove back to the store. When I walked in and explained the order was wrong the lady who originally took the drive thru order disputed the error and asked for the receipt. It was frustrating that I knew what I ordered and originally just intended to run in and have them fix the fries. When she asked again for the receipt I didn’t even recall her giving it to me. It ultimately was in the car. But if the order was wrong wouldn’t the receipt be wrong? Cared more about that then just getting it right. I asked to speak with the manager and then requested a refund. I requested a refund because the store manager told me he personally weighed both orders and they both had 8 oz of fries. I knew that could not be accurate because I knew one of them had an order of slaw. I once again requested a refund and he told me he could not do anything without a receipt. I found that ridiculously odd because he obvious just stated he remembered weighing both orders of fries. If he remembered that he obviously remembered our order? I had brought everything we had purchased back in the store. He finally refunded the check. At the point, he took the time to look at both boxes and he saw the slaw and lack of fries. Rather then admit the mistake and try to apologize for the error he told me that it was now irrelevant. He had issued a credit and it was done. I asked for his general managers name and contact info and he then told me to leave HIS store. When I asked why he would not give me the names requested, he said it was based on yelling at his staff. Up to the point that he was caught in a lie, not once did anyone yell. Including him. He told me to leave HIS store once again and acted like this was a huge inconvenience. I have never been asked to leave any place of business ever. And it is ridiculous that he would not identify who the owner or district manager was. HIS store…...
Read moreToday 08/04/2025- today I had a great experience. Ordered in the app, pulled through drive through 4 mins after “will be ready by” time. Received all my order without a wait. All was fresh and good! I hope this is the experience we get to continue in Lenoir City.
Ps- I never did reach out to anyone in the below other then through the customer service for the app who stated would pass my message along. I do appreciate the response from the company.
Ordered on the app pick up time was 7:20 PM. Walked in at 7:20. Food was not on the pick up shelf however I was ask my name. I gave them my name for 22 minutes before I asked if my food would be done soon. One girl said oh my goodness it’s right here and it was sitting behind the counter. I had ordered two large strawberry lemonades. I was handed lemonade. I stated I don’t want Lemonade. The order was for strawberry lemonade. The girl said you’re the door driver and you don’t want the lemonade? I said no, I am The paying Customer. She said we were out of strawberry lemonade. I said well I don’t want them. I would like a refund. She said I will get a manager. The manager came over quickly told me there was no way to refund it. Talk to somebody else, came out with two dishes of strawberries, syrup, and strawberries in her hand. She offered to mix the strawberries in the syrup in front of me. I allowed her to do so. I thought it was very unhappy as my food have been sitting there for some time and it was probably cold. I said I don’t understand why I didn’t have strawberry lemonade to begin with if you are able to make them there at the counter. She said I am not sure I am sorry. I then asked her what was going on because there were staff members everywhere and it wasn’t very busy, but everything seemed very chaotic. I then get home to find out. There’s no ranch sauce for the fried pickles and the cheese curds that were ordered. My food is cold. I have eaten at this location many times as I have several rewards on my app. But I’m not sure. I’ll be visiting anytime again soon. It was an incredibly awful experience. And a very expensive one for a very cold meal without everything...
Read moreOrdered 2 grilled chicken COBB salads at the drive thru. My mistake, I know better than to leave any drive thru without checking my order, but I was so shocked at the speed of service my order was ready I just took the bag and left. Had I taken the time to check I would have seen that the grilled chicken was beyond grilled, it was charred... burnt! Both salads had burnt chicken! Upon discovering the burnt chicken, I also noticed that both cobb salads were missing the eggs and bacon. So I pack up my order and return to Zaxby's in Lenoir City. When I went in to return my order and get a refund, the manager of course looked at the salads which I expected. Her response was "they're only missing the eggs and bacon"... ummm excuse me then they're not cobb salads. Not a care in the world that the chicken was burnt. A few months ago I ordered chicken wings, I always ask for them extra crisp, mine were wet and under cooked. I didn't bother saying anything as I was disgusted with the chicken and knew I wouldn't eat it again. Here it is a few months later, had a very busy day at the house, and we decided it's salad, how bad could it be, we'd give them another try. Lesson learned, do not return! Something about this location, I never see the same employees from 1 visit to the next. That says something about not only the management, but the company as a whole. Word of advice, if you want GOOD chicken, cooked properly, and the rest of your order correct, do yourself a favor a drive down the road a little bit further and just go to Chic-Fil-A, you'll be...
