Pelican's SnoBalls Lenoir — Restaurant in Lenoir

Place has great snow cones assuming you get the right crew working at the time. Lately they've had new crew members working and there's not much quality control keeping them in order. A woman, and myself another time, have complained about getting our orders three or four people behind when we ordered, but instead of simple reassurance that we hadn't been forgotten, we were met with a slight attitude and countless excuses as to why things are the way they are. Oh, and plus when I finally got my order, it was missing the ice cream center...

Bottom line, great snow cones, but until they get use to running a business, I'd give the owners some breathing room.

EDIT: The Gastonia location is a perfect example or how great this...

The hours of operation say that they close at 8pm. Myself and my 3 kids got there as fast as we could. We were ready to order and the people were at the window. Then they turned the lights off at 7:55pm and locked the door, even though they saw us standing there waiting to order. The open sign was still on. When we walked back to our car, they turned their lights back on. Seriously?!

They disappointed 3 kids that were super excited to have a sweet treat. We will not be coming back to this location....

We absolutely love this place. It's our favorite place from the time it opens in the spring til it closes in the fall. We love all the flavors, the staff are always so nice and so happy. The owner is one of the absolute nicest women you'll get the chance to meet. We love the outside area so much and all the little games you can play and...
