I highly advise against visiting the Wendy's located at 36125 26 Mile Rd, New Haven, MI 48048, due to exceedingly serious concerns regarding food safety and cleanliness at this location. During my recent visit, Friday, December 13. I ordered a large fry cooked fresh and a Dave's regular lemonade. To my shock, the employee preparing my meal did not change his gloves after handling raw meat on the grill. The same gloves were then used to touch my lemonade, and everyone’s food/drinks leading to clear cross-contamination.
Additionally, the restaurant's overall cleanliness was appalling. The fryer baskets were visibly dirty, and there was oil buildup underneath the fryer. This level of neglect not only reflects poorly on the store’s commitment to food safety but also raises concerns about the sanitary conditions of the kitchen as a whole. Not to mention I’ve seen other violations during my visit. I strongly urge potential customers to reconsider dining at this Wendy's location until these issues are addressed as I am in contact with Wendy’s corporate and the Health department to adress these serious issues before someone gets extremely sick or possibly hospitalized.

Read moreTerrible place to work for. The District Manager is unprofessional. They are all about their timers and money. Management does not care about customer service, they just want to be rated best. This company could do so much better if they respected their good employees. I loved working for customer service, I've done it for years in RI . I thought it would be a great experience in a new area, but unfortunately I was wrong. The food is never dropped on time or cold because they can't keep employees and we are short staffed constantly, since they get rid of the good ones and keep the ones who want to smoke on the line and text. They will hire anyone, because in their mind everyone is replaceable. But if you want your business to run smoothly and have happy customers, then they need to listen to their employees who are actually doing the job and working to their best ability with what they have for staff and products. Life is too short to work at a job that doesn't respect their good employees. I wish everyone the best that works there now , hopefully things change in the future or this will end up being another empty...
Read moreHonestly, they forget at least TWO things or more each time I’ve ever gone to pick up food for myself and my coworkers. I don’t understand how you forget sauces when all I order is nuggets? Like I shouldn’t have to ask for the sauce. I shouldn’t have to ask if everything is in the bag each time….I have also gotten sick from eating at this location a few times and last night was my last straw. Why do the nuggets always look and taste weird here? Why are they never hot? Why are the fries always cold? I’m just confused. When you tell them they forget things, they just don’t care. I’ve had to go in each time I’ve ordered to get something they forgot. Also, how do you run out of RANCH for months?? Now they use ranch dressing for salads so be aware it is not dipping ranch.
