I had the unfortunate experience dinning here.this was my 3rd attempt trying this place out and I have to say, the service is absolutely terrible. From the moment we walked in, we were met with rude and dismissive staff every single time. My family is Brazilian and I am not.
You order your food and is missing ingredients they say the menu have changed…. Keep in mind their menus aren’t updated, she said “the updated menu is on the tv but the tvs are off” please make it make sense.. Now whose problem or fault is that? She should make sure she advises the clients before ordering of what’s not available or what changed or their menu. If I seen something on the menu and I order it with no change i am expecting to get what I order.
Last time also order the Brazilian burger and was missing the chicken, we told them, they didn’t fix it and they charge us the same for it, one of the main ingredients. front desk lady had a million excuses for it, one of her excuses was that burger has a lot of ingredients and is easy to forget, but just imagine trough it all dealing with the attitude and you see her being nice to the locals the walk in, and speaking to them over you while is your turn to make your order.
After all the back and forth and I gave her the same attitude back, she wanted to remake the order and try to be apologetic, and we said no we didn’t even eat there grab what was ready paid and left.
And this will be the last time we...

Parking spots in front of the building was open and I decided to pull in. Parking is a bit of an issue because you either need to park on the street or pull into a sort of convoluted space behind the building.
In any case, the place was full of Brazilian breads and other treats, as well as some sandwiches. I I selected different items that looked interesting including some sweet breads and a layered pudding. A few different people try the items and while different than any type of bread or sweet bread previously had, the items refresh and delicious.
I would have likely purchased more if the different items available. Had a little sign that described what they are. I had to ask the clerk behind the counter what exactly everything was and I didn't want to take up too much of her time.
Places tiny and a little cramped, but clearly a lot of love goes into the food and the baking. Baking. Definitely...
Read moreI am so happy with my visit! I’m not from the area but was driving through on my way back to school. My mom is Brazilian and I grew up eating so much great food in the Newark/NYC area but wasn’t able to stop at my go-to spot on my most recent trip home. I was craving Brazilian snacks/pastries and am so glad to have found this place! The bolinhos de chuva were delicious and the coxinhas were perfectly seasoned and not dry at all. The coxinhas were even cooked fresh for us and not sitting in a warmer! the bolho de milho was also so good. Everything was fresh and perfect! The woman at the counter was lovely and the service was great. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone...
