Amiga Cafe — Restaurant in Leon Valley

So we came here awhile back at the recommendation of my inlaws and for all intent and purpose, their previous experience here may have been really great but when we came here together, it was just god awful. We were seated, drink order was taken, and then nothing but waiting. Everyone except my wife ordered tacos, she ordered an enchilada plate. There was a total of five of us, half the order came out, then the rest including my wife's plate came out half an hour later, and to top of off, the enchiladas were not the right kind, however my wife is more forgiving than I am and dealt with it however the entire plate was cold, like stone COLD like it was made and just sat out for no reason. When we brought up to the waitresses attention, she said she'd have the kitchen remake it fresh. Luckily my wife added salt to plate before sending it back and when the "new" plate came back, still the same entire plate she had sent back with the salt on it and was merely microwaved.

Me, my wife, and her brother left while my in laws dealt with situation as we were hungry and not satisfied but can honestly tell you, and with respect that I leave many reviews on Google- THIS PLACE IS COMPLETE AND UDDER TRASH. Don't waste your money and simply go anywhere in SA, you're not short of options for Mexican food and this place isn't going to satisfy...

Gave it 2 stars because the food is usually good ,we have been ordering here every week sometimes twice a week for the past couple months until here lately a few weeks ago we paid extra for avocado slices Which is fair but then only received 2-3 slices for 10 tacos the next time we made sure to even order extra to avoid any issues well we received plenty of avocado slices but they were covery in black spots and rotting that happened three timesjo in a row ! Every time we ordered since we the time they shorted us on avocado the food has been steadily getting worse from preparation to presentation we usually get it delivered so we figured we would try again and just get guacamole instead of the avocados because that has always been fine but this time it was already turning brown a good portion of it so we called to make them aware once more ! Gave them a break for a while and ordered tonight and the flautas were super soggy not crispy and the mini tacos were a mess with the lime raw and grilled onions tortillas and cilantro all completely mixed up together the cheese dip is never consistent it’s been getting to be a smaller and smaller portion with each order and if u look most of the high reviews they received most are from 7to 12 months ago sad to say we it may be long while if ever before we...

My husband and I have been here multiple times before and have absolutely LOVED their food, but last night was a completely different experience. When we walked in, we sat ourselves as directed by the sign and a server walked up about 5 minutes later and asked for our drink order. The other server came out with our drinks and took over. We were not brought chips and salsa so we asked if we could have some. The server said yes so we ordered while he was still at the table. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but we still hadn’t gotten chips and salsa so we asked again. The server came back and dropped our chips and salsa then walked away. I then began eating my food and my entire plate was intolerably cold and I was given cheese enchiladas instead of beef. We were not given red and green salsa in the bottles like usual either. The server never came back. Never refilled our waters or asked how the food was. I ate the food anyways after about 10 minutes of waiting for him to come back to get it fixed. Once we were done eating, we stacked our plates and empty drink cups and waited for a bill.
