99 Asian Bistro is a hidden gem in San Antonio, Texas. It is a small restaurant that serves up some of the best Asian fusion cuisine in the city. The omurice at 99 Asian Bistro is a must-try. It is a Japanese omelet filled with fried rice, chicken, and vegetables. The omelet is then topped with a delicious demiglace sauce. The omurice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the flavors are simply amazing. The sushi tacos at 99 Asian Bistro are also a must-try. They are made with fresh sushi-grade fish, avocado, and cucumber, and they are wrapped in wonton wrappers and deep-fried. The sushi tacos are crispy on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. In addition to the omurice and sushi tacos, 99 Asian Bistro also offers a variety of other delicious dishes, such as ramen, pad thai, and kung pao chicken. The restaurant also has a full bar, which serves up a variety of Asian-inspired cocktails. If you are looking for a delicious and unique Asian dining experience, I highly recommend 99 Asian Bistro. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. **Here is a sample highlight of the omurice and sushi taco:** **Omurice:** This Japanese omelet filled with fried rice, chicken, and vegetables is a must-try at 99 Asian Bistro. The omelet is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the demiglace sauce is simply delicious. **Sushi taco:** These crispy wonton wrappers filled with fresh sushi-grade fish, avocado, and cucumber are a unique and delicious twist on traditional sushi. I highly recommend both of these dishes to anyone looking for a delicious and unique Asian dining experience.

Found a NEW THAI Place!! Were kind of hesitant of trying this place because there was no one inside but we went in anyways. The manager and staff were nice and attentive. The restaurant itself was clean and very large seating area.. I hope one day this place gets packed or maybe moves locations to get noticed better. We ordered two appetizers.. fresh spring rolls and steamed dumplings. They were so so good! For our main course we got Chicken pad Thai and Pad Kee mow. The dishes don’t come with spice so make sure to ask for it.. if you like heat in your food, get medium heat because the “half medium” is little to none. Other than that, the restrooms were also clean and silverware and glass were clean upon delivery. Been coming here pretty weekly and the staff and management continues to do great. Restrooms are clean and place has great interior details. Only thing on my last visit is the sesame chicken seemed to be a little thin but still had great flavor. Wish the chicken was cut thicker so it wouldn’t be so crunchy! Other than that, place still deserves 5 stars.

The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly. The Good restaurant is clean and new. The Bad, where do I start? The service was terrible; we were the only table in the whole restaurant and waited over an hour for our food. During this time, I had a few beers, 3. As I ordered my 3rd Sapporo, the waiter said, "Another one" I thought he was joking, but he was not. Our food came out in different stages while we were there, and to top it off, I have yet to receive my order and didn't even know if I was charged because our bill was a disaster at the end of this complex dining experience. One guy was running around taking orders bringing out orders, and sometimes cleaning off our table. Three other employees stood around and stared at us while this one dude was struggling with our table. The Ugly, there were live ants in my cousin's Thai fried rice, see image. This place could have potential with the correct management and proper staffing. I do not recommend it.

Terrible food. I seriously think there is something wrong with peoples taste buds in San Antonio based on the good reviews this place has gotten. The only good things about this restaurant are the friendly staff and the nice decor but the food is awful.

I should have known better than to expect good sushi from a combination Thai/Japanese restaurant. I'm glad I only ordered a California Roll just to sample how the sushi tastes. The rice had a plastic texture , the crab tasted fishy, and the avocado was old. It reminded me of the term gas station sushi. It was utterly flavorless. And the Wasabi was a dark green like a bunch of food coloring was added to it. We were only able to choke down less then 1/2 of the roll. I have never in my life left a piece of sushi uneaten on a plate.

The crab Rangoon had a very runny strange tasting cream cheese filling with no crab. And they brought a little red Mexican restaurant style basket of Tortilla chips to go with the Crab Rangoon. So weird.

The yellow curry tasted like they just dumped a bunch of curry powder into the coconut milk without toasting the curry powder first. It had a gritty powder texture to the sauce. And absolutely no spice at all.

The spicy cashew nuts chicken was kind of sweet and had no spice at all. I had to ask for chili paste to add to it. It also had sliced carrots that were almost raw and not peeled so they tasted like earth. The dish wasn't horrible but the carrots and no spice made it NOT delicious.

We left disappointed that we tried this place based on the good reviews and were completely let down.

If you like good Thai food or Sushi,...

Went to this spot for our first time yesterday me and my husband been seeing it for awhile now and we decided to finally try it. When you enter it looks so inviting and well decorated we took a seat in the middle at it was such a great calming environment. So our waitress gave us our drinks and then disappeared but to be honest she looked like she was the only waitress there attending to 10 tables including ours, so the to go order guy took our order. So when the food arrived it looked amazing to eye. My hubsband ordered the bento box when it came out it was in actual bento box which surprised me bc usually they say it's a bento they us a regular plate still but it was great to see an actual bento box. My husband loved the food that came in it. I got the Thai fried rice with chicken and beef mixed in the plate looked very eye pleasing took my bites the meat was juicy which was the only thing that was giving the rice a little moisture because other than that the rice was dry even after putting soy sauce on it and I also wish a little more meat was in it because there was more rice than meat, but other than those two things the meal was great overall. Me and the husband will...
