So let's start by saying. This is not a typical place to eat.
If you are looking for service, this is not the place for you. So it took around 5 min for the person behind the counter to bring us menus & he just left them on the corner of the table. No smile, no Hi, no I'll be right back.... after 15-20 min the person from behind the counter (I believe the owner) showed up again to take our order. Took our order and left. Brought our drinks In 2-5 min. Soda cans only that didnt bother me (if you have any preference). Food didnt come together. We got our appetizers first tho. (2.5 stars)
Atmosphere is quite, it almost looks like a hang out place for guys. Small place 25-30 max pushing. The only problem I will say, that if you have some ignorant customer who would make you uncomfortable. (3 stars)
Food. So this is something that I was impressed. Appetizer were hot & tasted great. (Pita bread was in ziplock bag lol, was warm and not soggy. Dont have a problem with that as long as they were not microwaved) (so 4.5 stars on bread) I got my food in 10-15 min, took another 10-15 min for rest. Food was not warm but hot after 30 when everyone got their food my rice and chicken were still hot. Every thing tasted great. My family loved the food even my 5 year old loved it. (5 stars on food)
So will I come back to this place yes. Did i love the food yes. Service i can deal with. Now if I dont want to deal with the service make a...

Read moreThey offer the option to sit at a table or on the elevated carpet area with pillows, which is a more traditional option for many in the Middle East and encourages socialization. This allows for a nice atmosphere for all no matter the preference of the clientele. The service was excellent and noticing we were first-timers, they asked great questions and offered options to help us. The food was well-cooked, not over spiced, and came with a variety of spicy condiments for those who like the extra kick. They even gave us a free portion of stewed chicken with potatoes and carrots as a welcoming gesture since we were new. Lastly, the Turkish coffee was very good. It didn't come out right away, they made sure it was served after the grounds had a chance to settle, so less sediment in the cup, and they served it with a small coffee flavored candy. Not sure if I was supposed to suck on that while I drank the coffee, but I did and enjoyed it. Overall we highly recommend it and encourage anyone who goes to be respectful of their customs if you are not familiar with them (there is a reason for example, that they eat some foods with their hands that maybe...
