Rios Barbacoa #18 — Restaurant in San Antonio

I would highly suggest to update your website because when I placed my order over the phone I was going off the prices online, however they were double in person when I went to pick up. Also I would recommend when someone is ordering over the phone you provide them with the total amount due that why they know the actual pricing and not go off of the website prices which apparently are incorrect. They need to be updated and corrected because this is false advertisement. I find it funny the female said the prices and pictures are from years ago, however the reviews are looked at but pictures and prices and not updated. I moved to the area about a year ago and found this barbacoa spot. The barbacoa is really good and the tortillas are probably my fav but it seriously is a huge bummer they don't offer cilantro, onion, or limes...like wth. My other barbacoa spot was amazing offering all the toppings. There's literally nothing worse then a undressed barbacoa taco which means I have to make 2 stops, 1 here and 1 at the grocery store. I'd rather drive a little further to somewhere that offers it all and not half of what comes with barbacoa. But I will Def give it to them. I usually have my barbacoa delivered but I decided to go in person today for pickup at one of my favorite spots for barbacoa!

My plan was to just get us 1 lb of barbacoa since we already had the flour tortillas and avocados buuuuutttt we decided to give them a little more of our money and went with the "Special #2" for $27.99 that included a dzn of corn tortillas, a dzn of tamales, and hot sauce.

My son really likes the tamales from here, and I absolutely love the barbacoa since I never have to worry about the excess fat or questionable things I've seen before in barbacoa from some other places.
