Emmazing Play, LLC — Attraction in Leon Valley

I have tried to bring my toddler here on three seperate occasions, and only had one successful day here. The hours online show they close at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have shown up to play twice around 3:30-4:00pm only to arrive to a closed building! The first time it happened wasn’t a big deal, I arrived at 3:30 on a friday, and there was one other mom in the parking lot holding her son and she informed me it was closed, she was just as confused as I was. She let me know she saw someone inside but they had just turned off the open sign and hadn’t returned since. We waited 20 minutes but the person never came back out. I learned to check their social media ahead of time to ensure they were open before going and we returned and had a great time, it’s very clean and staff was friendly. I enjoyed my experience so much I decide to bring my son again, yesterday 02/28. I arrived around 3:50 knowing i’d have about an hour to play with my son only to discover the building closed AGAIN! They did not post about their early closure on their social media, i’ve only seen one early closure post which was on valentine’s day. I guess I need to call to check ahead of time if they will be open all the way until 5 but it shouldn’t be my job to call everytime I want visit. It’s a 30 minute drive and I just wish it wasn’t such a waste of time. The place asides from the early closures is very nice and very clean. I wish they would update hours to close at 4 if they’re unable to stay open until 5 or make an announcement if they are going to close early. We had a birthday party scheduled for my son in March of 2020 when Covid hit. We decided to postpone the event due to covid, giving them ample notice prior to. Instead of getting a refund, we wanted to make sure that small businesses like them would stay afloat during the pandemic so we didn’t ask for a refund, but rather for us to keep the credit for when we were ready to have a party. Then when we were finally ready to have a party, Sergio the owner said that the $100 credit was no longer valid. If we wanted to have a party there then we’d have to pay another $100 deposit that was non-refundable on top of the cost of the party. How quickly he forgets how we were one of the parents who wanted to make sure that his business stayed afloat during the pandemic. $100 down the drain, and no party or services from him. Sad. Lessoned learned. Not sure if this is where you want to do business, when this is the way that they treat their “customers”.

Such a great place for a toddler party! I was worried about only having 30mins before the party to set up but the hosts were quick in getting everything ready. I didn’t expect for them to be SO hands on with putting out our decor, dessert table setup and food setup. Everything turned out great! It was the first party I hosted where I wasn’t stressed. I’m sure parents, and let’s be real- mostly moms, can appreciate that. The kids had so much fun with all the toys and games. We also had so many compliments from family and friends on the facility. I loved the fact that we had the place for just our party. Other places only rent you a room or area, and that can quickly get overwhelming with a bunch of random kids running around. This was my first party here and I’m already excited for our next one cause I know I’ll have the support of the staff.

A little tip for future parents- If you are planning on having a balloon arch/display, I highly recommend having the balloons already blown up and pieced together. We did this and the staff was able to easily and quickly set it up.
