We recently visited Lewisburg, TN and stopped at the recommendation of a few followers, at 31A Diner, found at 126 S 2nd Ave. It's 1 block off the beautiful downtown square. Their hours are: Mon, Tue, & Wed 11a-2p, Thurs 11a-2p then that evening they open again at 4:30p-8p, Fri 11a-8p they are closed Sat & Sun. Thursday there are no plate lunches this is Wing Day. They were voted BEST WINGS in Lewisburg. On Fridays they are known for their Catfish. The meat and 3 are definitely what satisfies hungry diners at 31A. Most options have become popular including meatloaf made by Steve’s sister and a pot roast that people brag about. Follow them on Facebook for specials and menu items. This cute diner was originally Brisby’s Cafe in the 60's, a very popular restaurant at that time. Afterwards this building then served as home for many different businesses including a lawyer office and then hairdressers. Steve Corbin has been the owner since 2019 with plans to bring back this nostalgic diner. On opening day an older couple came in and asked to sit at a special table. They had sat there after they were married on the Courthouse steps 60 years before. This story shows how loved this diner is to this community. The staff is close and very helpful, with big smiles on their faces to welcome everyone. Thank You to Pam, Balinda, and Riley they and Owner Steve took the time to talk to us and tell us their love for this Diner and Lewisburg. Big shout out to Justin, a follower that we met while visiting 31A Diner! Go visit them and soak up their sweet Southern Spirit and great Southern cooking at 31A Diner. Delicious little meat and 3 in Lewisburg! We need more non Mexican restaurants and this place fits the bill. I’ve only ever ordered to-go so far but I’ll be back for sure. I saw they offer breakfast as well. The meatloaf was 100% best meatloaf I’ve ever had from a restaurant, cornbread flapjack was a bit dry and portions are smaller but overall...
