I’m especially excited about the kokedama (I think that’s how it’s spelled?) class coming up soon—it’s a Japanese gardening technique where you wrap plant roots in moss to create a living sculpture. I’ve always wanted to try it, and I love that she offers these chances to learn hands-on. Her creativity and ability to make gardening approachable and artistic is so inspiring.

I also had the joy of attending the Mother’s Day event, which was a total blast. There was a tiny tattoo pop-up and Patricia, the artist, was phenomenal. So warm, so talented, and her delicate work was the perfect complement to the energy of the boutique. Events like that just show how Wild Roots is so much more than a store—it’s a celebration of expression, style, and planty joy.

Wild Roots is the best place to get your plants! I now have 5 plants from there so far and all of them are thriving! The in-house soil is the BEST. My favorite is the monthly subscription in which you receive 3 different clippings to propagate for UNDER $15!! This months box included a Christmas Cactus which I am ecstatic to watch grow as the season starts soon!! I’m planning on stopping by the new shop to get teacher gifts and stocking stuffers!
