Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lewiston

I am only giving 2 stars due to some of the food being pretty okay. Though, the packaging is fairly messy, cups are sticky, and sometimes just tastes bad. Though, what's making me write a review and actually take the time to review, is the doordash. I work for doordash and am really getting tired of DairyQueen not seeming to care much about that. Whenever I go in, I at least have to wait 10 minutes just for an ice cream or two. On a fairly slow night it seemed, I was waiting for over 20 minutes for my doordash order of one combo meal to be finished. Mind you, whenever there was someone who came in and ordered, they would get their food/ice cream almost immediately. It wasn't because they were busy, it's just because for some reason they really didn't want to make my dashs order. This then brings my ratings down since I was nearly 20 minutes late to a delivery, not because of something that was my fault. I truly think that if Dairy Queen can be fast enough to get through a drive through and all inside orders, they can hurry up a bit with doordash orders, and not give other people bad ratings due to their...

I decided to take my daughter and her boyfriend out for ice cream. we knew the food was bad, so we were just there for ice cream. Anyway, we were greeted by the worst smell when we entered the facility. The smell of rotting mop water they must have smeared it around one too many times. The place was filthy. You can see into the kitchen from the front counter it was disgusting the ice cream machine was so dirty it turned my stomach I didn't notice that until I had already paid. Tried to find a clean table, but that was impossible. Wiped one down with napkins and hand sanitizer. No leadership is displayed here. Needs new management and trained employees. Sanitation is important not only for health reasons but for customers to feel comfortable and relaxed. I won't be going back until things change. Time to step it up, Dairy Queen! Last night, I decided it was time to have a sweet treat. Since I have been on a carnivore diet since before Easter Sunday, I thought my sweet treat was going to come from Dairy Queen. Last night, they did not disappoint. I pulled in and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The blizzards were absolutely phenomenal. The customer service was top-notch. The employees were working so hard to make sure every single customer got taken care of. Outstanding job, Dairy Queen, and thank you for your great customer service. I know some people get frustrated because it gets busy, but even though you guys were busier than usual, you were getting people in and out in a timely manner. Thank you so much for my amazing treat last night. I truly appreciate it and appreciate all of your staff.
