Not to bad. I didn't want sour cream and lettuce on my enchiladas but we got it to go. And when we opened order it was on there, not good. Tacos are good really good flavor. More close to authentic for LC valley. Ive lived in mexico tx and nm. So I know authentic mexican food. Ive had the best in the world so to speak and the worst. There chips and salsa. Well its weird good chips but they don't give u salsa "WoW" they give you dried no liquid pico de gio. Its not bad but should definitely not be in place of homemade salsa. There red hot sauce is very strange tasting but there green hot sauce is good. Also for 4 street tacos only gave out one tiny dried lime wedge that had no juice in it should be 1 lime wedge for every two tacos minimum. As a self proclaimed food critic. Not the best as stated but not the worst either. So Tacos Cecy if your reading this review I hope you critique yourselfs on these issues. Believe me it will help you're business to grow in the long run.....
Read moreThe juevos rancheros were overcooked and with such little sauce (poor quality too) they were extremely dry. The portions of rice and beans were very small and the rice was dry. I ordered posole and he asked, chicken or pork. I ordered pork and it was obvious he just added some fatty carnitas to a generic posole, which itself was just mediocre. I also ordered a chili verde burrito to go. I swear he did the same thing with it, just adding pork to his chili Verde sauce. It certainly didn't taste like it was slow cooked in the sauce like it's supposed to be cooked. The burrito was very large but had only a few pieces of pork in it. And on top on all, this was the first Mexican restaurant I've visited that didn't serve chips and salsa. Overall a bad experience. I won't be going back. I will say he was very pleasant and his service was good but that certainly does not make up for poor...
Read moreOrdered a michelada, which was good, 2 tacos cecy, a tongue (lingua) taco, and a chicarrone taco. All tacos were $2.50, and street taco size. For that money, I expect a full size taco. Moving on, the lingua was good. The other 3 left a lot to be desired. The chicharrone had nothing but a tortilla, and I saw the lady pour the chicharrones ot of a bag, like what you by at a corner store. It was as bad as it sounds. Where's the eggs? Where's the Pico? Man that was a let down. The tacos cicy were meat and literally crinkle cut French fries. For real? I'm from San Antonio TX. We had better Mexican food than freakin Mexico! That was a massive disappointment. How are you going to serve chicharrones out of a bag and call that authentic? Don't even ask about the enchiladas molé. It was definitely out of a can. Its not hard to make. This white boy does it often. I'm...
