Mind Your Biscuits ... & Gravy — Restaurant in Lewiston

OMG... If you come to Mind Your Biscuits, please do yourself a favor and gift your belly with my new favorite. It was so good, I couldn't stop eating it to take a picture and I'm sitting here enjoying the tastes left over in my mouth, the comfort in my tummy and the peace to my soul.... If you love bacon and gravy and cheese and egg, order this:

*Classic Combo with extra bacon instead of sausage patty, ADD cheese and gravy to the hashbrowns, and ask for a side of sour cream.

*Sprinkle your salt & pepper packet over your potatoes, spoon the sour cream over them and softly stir up from the bottom of your potatoes to incorporate the gravy, cheese and sour cream you added. OTHERWISE, you eat all the best part and the potato at the bottom needs that sauce! [I also added a touch more pink salt once home]

*Take bites of bacon and egg with your spoonful of magic browns and don't be surprised if a tear escapes your eye...

I don’t like doing honest reviews, i feel bad. The service was absolutely perfect very nice people and speedy time to get food. However the biscuits and gravy were not my favorite. The flavor was off for me as the biscuits had a sweetness to them. The gravy had lots of sausage chunks (that’s good) and the gravy itself tasted ok but I like a more white country thicker gravy with black pepper in it. I am not a fan of eggs on this either but i decided to try it. Still not a fan, everything was cooked perfectly just the taste didn’t hit for me. I wouldn’t steer anyone from trying these as they may like what I’ve described in this review. Second time we’ve been where we have not been greeted first. Second time that they were not happy but seemed quite a bit on the grumpy side even though we showed up with smiles and happy to get food. Second time we’ve been there when the eggs were cooked over easy and not over medium. This time we took the food back and said we couldn’t eat the eggs undercooked that way. They just said oh. Sat in the car finishing up the rest of the families food and they had every opportunity to at least apologize, but nothing. We will definitely not be going back. Super bummed about both experiences.
