I won't be going back. Worst and most disgusting place I have EVER been. We got a table that was still dirty to start. Wasn't asked about drinks, wasn't brought water until 30 minutes after we sat down. We were there for an hour before we could order our food. It was another hour just waiting for our food. Note, there were MAYBE 5 groups of 2 there. We order 2 t-bones, 2 pancakes and a grilled cheese for our kiddo. When we did get our food, 1 "steak" was worse than blue. We order it medium rare. The 2nd looked like it was still raw from the outside, but was like cardboard when we cut into it. The red potatos were more than old. They were all shriveled up and cold, look like they were left our from the morning. Our kiddos food, which was a grilled cheese, was cold and soggy. The fries were also cold. To make matters worse at that point, the staff started to argue in front of the customers, one threw a fit and stormed into the back, and the other one hit, and not lighty, the counter. Then there were 2 other employees talking how 2 reliefs called in, and a few were no call no shows. No one looked like they knew what they were doing. There was 1 person out of that whole crew that was running her butt off. She was serving tables, she was cleaning, seating guests, everything other than cook. We called her over and just for a minute, asked her to take a breather. The look of relief that came across her face when I told her that was priceless. You could just see her shoulders relax, her face relax, everything. In that moment she appreciated it so much to have someone see her, to recognize her and all she was doing. That woman's name was Zoe, we talked with her for just a moment, and she was the sweetest. We told her everything that had happened and she was horrified. We didnt know when we called her over that she was a fill in manager. She ended up comping our two steak meals, which we were NOT expecting. So all in all, the only thing good that happened that night was meeting her and having her know she was doing great. That made us happy to know that that small gesture ment the world to her. So shout out to Zoe, you are amazing! You're a rock star! With that kind of work ethic, youre going to do...
Read moreHad a wonderful day till going to dennys for the 2nd time after having an God awful experience. We got there and were seated by the gentleman with the pony tail, after standing at the front for 10 minutes and not being greeted! There was no silverware given, or napkins, he just walked away saying nothing. It took about another 10-15 minutes to even get our drinks (bonus straws were given) After waiting longer, the tall skinner guy with curly hair came over to finally take out order. With the wait time, we had already finished our drinks and our table was not checked at all, even after multiple workers walked by. The guy with the pony tail was very rude, unprofessional and has very bad attitude. He was yelling and he wouldn't help anyone. I thought it was horrible customer service all around. So disappointed with all the unprofessionalism in front of customers and other workers. It was embarrassing sooo not cool. After about 25-30 min 3/4 of our plates were literally tossed and slid on the table to us, the server didn't even give the right person their food, it was all mixed up. The employees didn't have any table manners nothing just walked away, very unprofessional. The 4th plate of food was an additional 15 min wait after having to ask 3 diffrent times about where the food was, and our refills. Even after two waiters being at our table there were no refills, even though we asked multiple times. None of the employees offered any service, even after seeing our cups empty. Finally when the last plate showed up, hungry picking up the burger it's like it was literally covered in grease (as pictured below) when taking a bite all it tasted was grease, it was so repulsive I could only take 2 bites. When sitting at the the table my bud witness a manager sticking a double barrel hang gun up to his head and bounced it off his head...
Read moreThe reason I’m writing this with a poor review isn’t because of my food or even my own waiter. It’s because of a waiter who continuously made our waiter feel belittled. I went to Dennys later at night and was seated with this wonderful server named Zoey. Zoey was fantastic, great energy and very caring. However she had multiple tables, no worries she was one of 2 waiters. However the second waiter was awful, he was a man who to put very bluntly did NOT pull up his pants, underwear clearly visible. However that wasn’t the problem, this waiter with seemingly no tables made our waiter feel atrocious. He was shaming her for her times on tables or people complaining, and in my very best unbiased possible way he did this while he was doing nothing. (Not serving what he was composing about). At one point our waiter Zoey cried. I understand criticism to a point but not to tears in front of costumers which she had to go serve in tear ridden eyes. He then continued to talk down upon Zoey to other tables. Which in my opinion isn’t okay at all, the customers shouldn’t be aware there is in issue. But honestly I’m sure the whole restaurant could feel the anger.
I hope to eat here again soon but with the hopes of the staff (specifically that individual)...
