Read moreTo say that I was pleased with my visit to this place would be an understatement. It was a busy Sunday afternoon. The hostess (I don't recall her name), had a long line, and a big list. But still took the time to make everyone who walked in feel very welcomed. She even made it a point to update folks who were waiting as to when their tables would be available, beyond the initial "it'll be 15-20 mins". Once at the table, the service was impeccable. Dea was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive; not just to my table, but to all of her tables. She was extremely friendly, but not in a fake kinda way. She was genuinely friendly, and carried on more conversation than just "can I get you something to drink?" and "Our special is blackened chicken Alfredo with olives and mushrooms." The food came out quickly considering how busy it was. And it was delicious. I fancy myself as somewhat of an amateur sweet potato fry connoisseur. And when I heard Main Street Grill had them, I knew exactly what side I was getting with my Reuben! The sweet potato fries were delicious!! The fry sauce was pretty tasty as well. The Reuben, easily one of the better ones I've had. It lacked enough Russian dressing for me, but it was still there and it was still very good. I could've asked for extra, but I wanted to see how they made it. My only company, albeit a small one would have to be the carrot cake. The picture on the menu was a big 3 layer piece of cake with visible frosting between the layers. It was not that, tho the flavor of the cake and the frosting were good. It visually did not match what "I ordered". It was 3 layers. But it lacked the size that was advertised. That being said, I still give the food as a whole 5 stars as the cake wasn't the star of the meal anyways, and rating the fries and sandwich less than 5 stars would be a travesty.

Read moreI dont usually give 1 star reviews but this one is necessary. We have been to this place before and enjoyed it. However this visit was a complete disappointment. We were there for over half an hour waiting for our food which consisted of two side salads, cup of soup, and bowl of Chilli. Not unreasonable because we could see they were busy but thinning out. However when we noticed two different tables who came in and ordered after us recieving their meals we questioned the waitress about our order. She said they were busy, she was helping train, etc. When we mentioned that two other tables she was serving received their food already, her tone changed and sounded very snarky and said she waited to bring salads with soups( which she never gave us the option of) and she couldn't get the Chilli because "it was in the kitchen and I just can't go back there". It was the attitude and snarkiness that was a total turn off. My question if the Chilli is in the kitchen and she can't get it, where did the grilled cheese, tater tots, omlette, sandwich, chefs salad, French fries, and other dishes served to the other tables come from? We waited at least another 7-8 minutes before served, and the Chilli was not hot. I would rather be told the truth, I can understand( my mother, wife, and daughter have all been waitressses, I get it) the ticket got lost, missed it, someone dropped the ball, not made up excuses delivered with rude tones. Not sure if we will return after...
