Locomotive Park — Attraction in Lewiston

This is the place to go in Lewiston, Idaho to check out the Christmas lights and the music. They serve hot chocolate and hot ciders and you can just walk around and enjoy the lights and scenery. You cannot help but feel transported to a happy place, and having family there with you enjoying the moment is unforgettable. This year, we had a wonderful surprise. My daughter's boyfriend proposed to her by the fireplace, surrounded by lights, family and love. It was amazing!

Another great park to go in order to eat your take-out, take your dog and children, as long as you know neither will endanger themselves since its so close to heavy traffic. Could definitely use an actual structure to house the restrooms instead of the port-a-potties, but I understand the necessity to keep such a structure to be locked at night to deter homeless. Small but pretty park especially near Christmas when hundreds of volunteers help put up the lights on trees and other christmas decore. There is a lovely five place that you can site in front of to help the chill off. Of course you cant forget the beautiful Locamotive that rests in the park.
