Sophia’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Lewisville

This is a nice coffee and donut shop but run by teens with a lack of follow through, which is why Im being generous with stars because Im patient and understand teens get flustered when its busy.

Anyway, ordered a bottle water and Acai bowl. Didnt get either, lol, as they had run out of ingredients for my Acai bowl and just simply forgot about the bottled water. They had other pastries and donuts but I dont eat processed foods so you may like it as I saw they offered half dozen donuts for $6.

The reason for my visit was to have a meeting and luckily my counterpart was able to get their coffee with no isses. They provide free WiFi access so was able to use that to discuss and share with my colleague.

Wasnt too loud so was a good environment for having a discussion. Overall, it was pleasant and served its purpose and am sure I wouldve like my Acai bowl and bottled water had I received it. I can recommend this place for your next visit to Lewisville.

Sophia's Kitchen, or Escapé (ehs-CAH-pay), as it's more commonly known, is a lovely little spot. When I lived in Dallas, I went here all the time to get work done and with friends to enjoy the coffee. Their coffee selection is astounding, and all of it is excellent. I'd never have tried a Raspberry Coconut Latté anywhere else, but I liked it here. The staff is always very nice and knowledgeable (I went there about twice a week, and they all knew me by name and knew that I got something different every time, so gave me suggestions and other). You can get paninis, donuts, incredible kolaches (pigs in a blanket), and coffee, all in a nice, quiet-but-not-too-quiet atmosphere.
