Bojangles — Restaurant in Lexington

I have no idea what has happened to this place in the recent months. You used to be able to go in here and not wait too long for your order. Nowadays, it is a wait whether there are customers in the dining room or not. It always seems like I hit the joint when they are out of cooked food and need to wait. I have had to wait for biscuits on several occasions, thinking to myself its morning, its breakfast time, there should be biscuits at the ready. The biscuits are hit or miss anymore these days. Some days during the week they are awesome, cooked to perfection, others, it seems like they need 5 more minutes to finish up baking. They are light in color, not browned as usual, and tend to fall apart no matter how you eat them. Most of the dining room customers in the morning are older folks, retirees, etc etc, and most of them comment they cant believe the place is still up and running with the way orders are messed up and service is slow. I hate to leave bad reviews of places but this place needs a leader and some management that can handle busy situations...

There is always a line, This place takes absolutely forever go to anywhere else besides this place they take forever to bring the food out to you. There are so many people waiting in their cars and yet the drive-through people. Get their food and leave before anyone else gets their own food who has waited before the others. This has happened multiple times and I am done giving this place any more chances. There appears to be a persistent queuing issue at this establishment, as patrons are consistently forced to wait an inordinate amount of time for their orders to be served. Despite the high volume of customers who queue in their vehicles, it has been observed that those utilizing the drive-through service are served and depart expeditiously, leaving others who have been waiting for longer periods without their orders. This recurring issue has transpired on multiple occasions, leading me to conclude that I can no longer afford to patronize this...

I just love Bo's. Some more than others. Why? You have to find one that changes their grease regularly, and keeps it hot enough so that it doesn't get absorbed into the chicken or fries. Most of them do very well at this, but know that if your sandwich tastes greasy, it's probably because they don't care enough about the grease!

When they get it right, which is most of the time, there just isn't a tastier chicken sandwich on the planet! Of course that's a subjective thing, but it's certainly the way my taste buds are slanted. I like the other guys too, but their chicken sandwiches are too thin and flat when compared to Bo's. You know, the ones not open on Sunday after church when you're REALLY hungry. Yeah, them.
